I need scientific answer and reputable reference

Alright, this has been a long running debate with my friends. Everyone always says cheetah at first, but I have brought some over to the dark side. Here is my reasoning: cheetahs are overrated. The are basically oversized house cats -- they are built more like a bird than a killer predator. Their bones are extremley light, their claws are not sharp or retractable (more like a dog's claws), they never overpower their pray, they just chase them down and get them by the jugular...and even then they don't get the kill 9 times out of 10.

So here's the situation, I am locked in a cage with a cheetah, no weapons, only the clothes on my back. (One point I always make is that I could throw my shirt over its head to blind it). Now I am no gladiator by any means -- I am long and lean, and not terribly fast or powerful. I can do about 28 push ups at a time and my resting heart rate is a solid 61. :)

What do you think? Please back up your answer with facts.

Is this my imagination or is it true that coffee is more spilly than water. Whenever I set down a cup of coffee it seems to go all over the place no matter how full the cup is. It seems that the coffee jumps out of the cup, whereas I can carry water all night long without spilling a drop - (though the glass always seems to be wet - but that is another question).

Here's a thought experiment:
1) Let us assume that the total amount of energy in the universe is finite. Or at least, the total amount of available energy.
2) And let us assume that in order to perform any sort of calculation, energy is required.
3) Let us use all the energy (and/or mass) in the universe to construct an optimally-designed computer, which could then perform calculations at the fastest possible rate.
4) Let us employ the computer to calculate a sequence of digits, say the decimal expansion of an irrational number such as pi. I think this is an example where one can prove that there is no simple algorithm to calculate the nth digit based on a simple formula, rather one needs to laboriously calculate the preceding digits first.
5) Then, let us use all the energy in the universe to calculate as many digits as possible in this sequence, and suppose we end up with "p" digits.
6) Then the (p+1)st digit is calculable in theory, but unknowable in the universe!
Yes / No ?
