You will not find reputable references for this question, that's impossible.

Our consciousness, as the best scientific explanation would seem to be, is created by the aggregate functioning of our brain activity. Since this is, by nature, a biological process dependent on healthy, functioning cells, this will end when the biological process stops.

Without the bio-electrical impulses that is our brain and body, our consciousness is nothing.

There is absolutely no scientific evidence that consciousness exists or is any way transferable.
