Amphetamines are commonly found in ADHD medications, cold medications, diet pills and diet herbs. Also keep in mind that recreational drugs often go under different names and are frequently mixed. Ie. A pill of E might really be anything including amphetamines. A rollup of pot might be laced with amphetamines, etc etc. Often done to increase their addictive value - although even more dangerous to the user. As a final note - a positive drug screen does not = drug use. While a drug screen is very sensitive the specificity is usually very low resulting in many false positives. This is due primarily to the low prevalence of drug use. If you really aren't using drugs or using any of the above - you should request a rescreen.

pseudophedrine or ephedrine containing products can cause positive amphetamine results but the results will not be the same as if you were taking amphetamines and were tested.
