I don't know the speed the earth rotates, I'm using 18000 mph as A benchmark. News reports will indicate the ship is traveling at A certain speed I E 18000 mph in an eastern direction and the world is moving west at 18000 mph wouldn't the spaceship have to standing still.

Black holes are stars that have collapsed and become extremely dense, then collapse on themselves. They pull everything into them. A white hole is just the opposite--it expells everything and, thus, be impossible to enter. A worm hole is suppose to connect folded space and is very unstable. If stable, time travel might be a reality!! What do you think?

So far, I have learned that we live to the naked eye in four dimensions: 1-D [line], 2-D [square], 3-D [Cube], 4-D [Time]. They say the 5th, 6th, and so-on have shrinked to a very [and I mean "very" small size].
In "The Universe in a nutshell" by Stephen Hawking, I read this:

"To The naked eye a hair looks like a line; its only dimension appears to be length. Similarly, spacetime may look four-dimensional to us, but appear ten- or eleven-dimensional when probed with very high-energy particles."

What will appear when we probe those ten- or eleven-dimensions, my guess is "more dimensions". It seems that the dimensions will not end, there will always be some new dimension to discover.

For example, cosmological theory has it that if you were a sentient being that lived on some other world in another galaxy far, far away, and owned a super telescope, depending on the relative velocities between your galaxy and our earth, you could still see when the dinosaurs walked th earth, or Marie Antoinette getting chopped, or Joe Sixpack picking his nose in the year 2020. So, on the whole, all events that ever were are there, it just depends on where and when you're viewing them from.

The interior of the earth is extremely hot: eventually we reach molten iron!
Why can we not simply dig down until it gets hot enough, and build a heat engine as a power source.

Is it just an economic issue, that it isn't efficient to dig such a deep hole? Or is it technically impossible to dig an immensely deep hole, given the pressures involved?

(Note: This is not a political question, it is a scientific question)

The USA has spent $100 billion to $200 billon dollars in the last 20 years on military action in the middle east, primarily to protect our oil interests in the region.

If the US had committed $200 billion to solar energy research in, say 1990, would we be less reliant on oil and gasoline today and if so how must less reliant?

Maybe you are not aware of this but the majority of black widow bites to humans occurs on the male genitals..........this is not a joke, it really happens and often too.........

This is a trivia question, I am looking for the major reasons for why these encounters happen there are perfectly good explanations. I dont want internet research, I want to see if people know or can guess the reasons why this would happen. I will award 10 points to the best answer! Good Luck, lets see what you can come up with.............By the way I am fully aware of the answer.....please no dumb answers..............

Here is a little trivia question...........I would like to see how much people know about mutualistic relationships.........actually symbiosis in this case.

I already know the answer, I will award 10 points to the person who can give me the best answer WITHOUT internest research, I know all the pages, so dont try...........you'll be stuck with two points!!!

QUESTION:
With what other organism does the Yucca moth share a symbiotic relationship, and name some of the important interactions behind thier relationship, and which of the two has ultimate vito power over whether or not they both survive?

If a propeller had aerodynamic improvements to create trailing edge vortices, would it help to keep the air from being forced outward by centrifical force?
On a fixed airfoil the centrifical force of the air causes the downwash behind the airfoil. on a spinning airfoil, the outward centrifical force is much greater than the downwash and it "throws" the air outward away from the propeller. If that propeller created vortices, would the centrifical force of the rotation of the air be strong enough to counter the outward centrifical force? if not completely, do you think it could help efficiency at all?
