As of now, all aircraft have to be painted white. The suns rays heat up dark colors which causes the fiberglass core to shrink, and this damages the fiberglass. I need help discovering ways to have other color options than simply shades of white.

There is much less gravity on the moon (about one seventh that of the Earths), so certain activities would be very cool. For instance, what would swimming in 1/7 gravity be like? Gymnastics would be fun. And what about trampolines?! dancing, basketball, obstacle courses... what else?

I know a simple square can be formed into a perfectly equilateral five-sided polygon by just a few simple folds, but I'm having trouble finding a way to make it perfect every time. Most methods I have found involve a little guess work. Is there a way to make it perfect every time?

I know that for three phase, to find the line to ground voltage you have to divide the line to line voltage by the sqrt of 3. Does the same apply for a delta wire configuration?

Wondering if there is any kind of gas mask that can be put on while totally submerged under water (as in, a room is filled with gas, and you're in the room but underwater in a pool. you have a gas mask but it's not on, it's in your hand. Is there any mask (NOT scuba equipment) that you can then put on and climb out of the pool into the gas-filled room?)

I have a fan that is out of a refridgerator.
It is the kind that the motor blocks some of the airflow (metal square plates with coil around it)
There are three wires, black, white and red.
If I hook black and white up to 110v it runs fine for a minute or two, then turns off! the coil(windings) continue to heat up.

The red wire does not seem to do anything. can hook it up in combination with white or black and the fan does not run.

#1 is the motor stopping caused by a heat expansion? (bad solder joint)
#2 is the red wire for a low speed and broken? (should be red and white for low)

Thank you

Don’t you love the diversity in life, here in the internet, among us? The differences between groups of people down to each individual? I just learned to appreciate that when I answered this question “What is the saddest (as in geekiest) question you have ever read and answered?”

And this was my answer:

“Geekiest would be ‘how many kg of potassium should be added to blah blah water to freeze?’... I was like ‘just put it inside your freezer…’:p But the saddest would be ‘will I ever see my beloved again?’ I felt his longing for his loved one, coz I've been there, and so it almost made me cry.

I just realized how Y!Answers makes me feel alive by evoking different emotions in me through the questions of its memebers. And just a while ago, I encountered a question ‘I like being creative blah blah blah, how about you how do you express yourself..?’. It reminded me of my artistic side, taking a break from answering geeky questions. And there's even a poem I read which was really beautiful and which I could relate to. It makes me a complete person to deal with the different aspects of life. I love being in Y!Answers :)”
