There is talk of a new generation of capacitors that can store huge amounts of charge, nearing battery-like performance.

Is it possible to be build such a device with simple parts, that could hold capacitance to multi-farad values in a relatively small volume?

Looking for creative techniques, possibilities. (Etching? Materials?)
thanx

This number was on my caller ID when I was out of my calling area still within the states and I answered it and it told me to press 1 to continue service and 2 to discontinue service. I freaked out and hung up! I called 411 to reverse look up and they told me no such number exsists. It could only be possible from an international call. but how? I'm freakein out only because I cannot find a plausable answer or logical answer....

I started wondering about this question when a little moth was fluttering around my computer screen, and I thought that I wouldn't bother catching it unless it got in my face. Then I wondered, would it be attracted to my glasses since they'd reflect the light from the computer screen? Just wondering.

I have links below to pictures of this thing. I have no idea what it is. A friend told me it may be a baby bat, but I see 4 legs (which bats don't have.) It looks like a bug of some sort to me. Any ideas would be helpful. I live in western Virginia... (Blacksburg) if that helps. Thanks All!

Specific types. This assumes you're in their natural habitat with no vehicles to get away with (i.e. shark in water, lion in jungle, bear in woods, etc). No weapons either.

Is there any doubt within any established scientiific community of the validity of evolution as a legitimate science, that is, those who do not have a specific religious agenda to offer a theory such as creationism in its place? Would this question receive a similar rate of Yes and No answers if I were to post it in the category of Religion and Spirituality where there may be more respondants of religious inclination?

Why do humans have to live so much different than animals? Aren't we just another species too? Why do we need luxuries that bears or fish or lions or birds never needed? What is so different about us?

to get ahead on my anatomy class for next year. If you know of any good sites in which human anatomy is discussed, I'd really appreciate it. I'm bored and figure it's worth the five points to get ahead on school (I'm a geek, I know). :)
