in theory to travel through time we would have to be able to travel at the speed of light but if we did this us and the craft/object we were travelling in would discintegrate!! will theory always remain theory in this case?

What if we could pull energy from thin air? (or thick air for that matter...)?

If you have lots of atoms etc whizzing about all over the place, that is kinetic energy isn't it?
If that is energy, what is stopping us from tapping into it as a power source (and I'm not talking about static electricity or friction)?

In 200 years time (if we still exist) - do you think that potential energy will be regarded as a silly notion?

When I was at school I was told that all matter has energy in it, and that energy is released and not created.
What I'm wondering is, is that true? Do all objects have energy in them, even when stationary and not plugged into something?
Also - in 200 years time, would such a notion as matter having energy in it be regarded as something silly that we thought of in the past before we knew different?

why is speed calculated by using kph?

why kilometers per hour when you will not be driving for an hour or even a kilometer. or in criket or in tennis a ball `s speed is calculated by kph when iy does not move an hour or a kilometer. and please do not be scientific and tell me when kilometers are converted they whayever they do.
