In the movie, 'The Day After Tomorrow', only certain areas of the planet were habitable. I'm wondering which areas they might be.

The Lorentz Transformation for a time interval has the term (1-v2/c2). This goes to zero for the coordinate system moving along with a photon. If a photon does not experience time, yet we can measure the time it takes for a photon to transverse an interval, can a photon actually be a valid model for light?

Take for example, taking photos in complete darkness and then finding white orbs floating? A picture of a gravestone at night showed one of those orbs also. At my Mom's office, a man had a heart attack and died later. While taking photos in the dark downstairs to find some orbs, They were everywhere. What do you think and what are your stories?

I need to look for voids or structure faults within a thin ~2mm diameter wire. I need a non destructive test that will not damage the wire.
Is ultra sound the best? Are there any other methods? Please point me in the direction of information on any technique that might work,
Many Thanks

If there are new undiscovered elements to be found elsewhere in the universe, how will it fit in the periodic table, or would it distrupt the periodic table. For years the periodic table is prety much solid in a way that everything can be classify. So what if we human found more new elements?

Last night I saw a fly on my clean bathroom counter giving birth to maggots! My carpets were cleaned yesterday, there was no food left out and my house was just thoroughly cleaned. I have never heard of such a thing. Does anyone know why this would happen? I thought they only did that in degrading organic matter.

According to MO theory two molecular orbitals are formed. One has higher energy than the parent ATOMIC ORBITALS and the other has lower energy than the parent orbitals. In fact the destabilizing effect of anti bonding orbital is more than that of bonding orbital. Then the total energy of the molecule is higher than that of combining atomic orbitals and hence is destabilized. That is it distroys the very purpose of forming a molecule that is to lower the potential energy of the molecule.
