We are still in an ice age, though the CO2 we're pumping into the air (higher levels thatn the last 650,000 years) won't help. All indications point to warming temperatures.
An ice age is a time of continental glaciation, and we have that in Greenland and Antartica.
Even at the height of of last glacial maximum, there is probably always sanctuary in costal areas. The ocean is a great regulator of temperature, so try San Diego.

inside theaters waiting to see other incredibly preposterous movies like "the Day After Tomorrow".. The animated feature "Ice Age" was more realistic. I have a few questions about the real movie
1) why did only the wolves escape the zoo why not bears and bunnies too?
2 how does an abandoned ocean vessel make the corners in NYC to be able to get to the downtown library from the harbor?
3) the cold that freezes people solid in seconds doesn't freeze wolves? or the closed doors of buildings and on the ship?
4) how did the glass roof of the mall withstand the subzero temp and the weight of feet of snow only to break under the weight of the doomed "buddy of the hero"

Where is it safe to live after the next ice age? It won't make any diffrence to you or anyone you know as you and they will all be dead. An Ice age is not over in a matter of months. We are talking thousands of years. If you are really concerned watch the movie again I'm sure all the answers are contain in the film.

The next ice age will be long after your dead, so why worry about it?
We are in an interglacial period. In fact, because of normal apogee/perigee we are entering a warming cycle, yes, the earth will cool again as it has done off and on for 4.6 billion years.
The Day After Tomorrow is a trite piece of fiction, I would recommend a Michael Crichton book "State of Fear" at very least Crichton uses science fact instead of fiction for his references.

Space; the core of a volcano; underground habitats built to create an new society.
I don't know. I'm hoping that doesn't happen. Least of my worries right now but the above would be what I suspect.
Hope that helps

I think I'd be more concerned about global WARMING than global freezing right now. Another ice age is a looooong way off.

You should really ask the climatologists presently predicting global catastrophe based on global warming. They seem to be the experts on making concrete predictions of this type, on the basis of no evidence whatsoever.

Considering that we are only 10,000 years into the current interglacial period, the next glacial period will not happen for another 2,000 years. I would worry about where to live at that time, if you make it that far.
