okay.....here's me deal,

i have been taking these ovulation test strips and they worked and all. but on the directions it says, once you detect your surge you should have intercourse within 24-36 hours.

okay, say it's 10 am on friday. should you wait to have intercourse the next day between 10 am to 10 pm on saturday. or should you have intercourse soon after you detect your surge the same day? those directions confuse me!!

Kinda depressing not knowing whats going on..Well I have now completely missed my period. the last time i missed my period or was late was when i was pregnant with my daughter who is now six. I did have a docters appointment but my insurance is cancled so I cant go..I have no menstration symptoms at all..I was having cramps three days ago but they have stopped. No bleeding no spotting nothing. My cycle is 21 days long and its hard to find information about my cycle length. My boobs are starting to feel tingly and i have some pulling i guess you would call it in my belly. I am really tired all the time and I am using the bathroom alot..No other symptoms. I took a preg test two days ago came back negative..I am too scared to check again..because for some reason i believe in my heart that i am pregnant..and everytime i get a negative it makes me really sad..does any one eles have a 21 day cycle? i was suppose to get period sept 15th got my last aug 25th. when should i test again?

So, l saw my doctor yesterday and complained of the missed period, tight tummy, occassional pinch like pain on my belly button. he said he suspects pregancy and still another blood test yesterday still says negative. l was 8days late that yesterday. He said, he doesnt see any problem, that l should hold on till the end of this month to do another test.
my symptoms have been, at 9dpo to 20dpo l have dizziness and tiredness. but since this week, l have stuffy nose while the diziness has stopped, and mild cramps on the waist, occassionaly.
And my doctor told me to stop taking pre-natal vitamins for now. Pls do you think l may still be pregant and whats ur experience like?

Has anyone else heard of this? My co-workers have been following my infertility saga and have suggested that I start taking Geritol, many of them claiming they have children that are the product of taking this vitamin. One girl was on Clomid, which is what my doctor has me on, and it never worked. When she started taking Geritol, she got pregnant.
If this is true, that it atleast helps, why is this? How does it work? And do you have to take the liquid form or do the pills work the same way. I have a problem with liquid medicines... they don't go down very easily... Usually not at all.
Any information would be appreciated!

I am just curious how that works, is it ever classified a pre-exsistiong condition or is it if you go to the dr. and you're not pregnant then go back and the insurance company denies you? Or is this for new paitents to the insurance company? I am really curious how this works.

i've had 2 miscarriages, one in april and one in august(last weekend) and my OB/gyn referred me to a specialist so he can run some tests on me to figure out what is wrong and he is going to do this one procedure. It involves injecting water into my uterus and taking x-rays to see if i have any abnormalities of the uterus. Has anybody/anybody you know had this done before?? was it painful, uncomfortable or for the most part ok?? Im really nervous because i've never been thru something like this and dont know of anybody that has...please no rude answers!

about getting pregnant and she went into the fact that I had a very irregular period and was the first doctor to tell me that I could possibly have something called pollycystic ovary syndrome. She didn't diagnose me but she did say it was a possibility and in that case would be a little more difficult for me to become pregnant. I'm only 22 and we weren't expecting a pregnancy with out first child but now that we actually are trying all these things are coming up that are starting to worry me. The doctor did say that loosing as little as 10 lbs could make a world of difference in trying to become pregnant if i did indeed have polycystic ovary syndrome but I'm still a little depressed because of the thought of it being a possibility I might have a hard time getting pregnant ever again. Has anyone ever dealt with this? Any good advice. Any help is much appreciated! Thanks to all in advance.

Okay I did ask this question a couple days ago, though now it's more relevant and I only got one opinion last time. My doctor prescribed me Provera to start my period because they have been getting longer (anovulatory I think). So she gave me a prescription for 10 days worth and said I would start my period a couple days after the last pill. Well I have taken 6 pills and am now on day 2 of my period. I am unsure if I should continue taking them, or if I don't need to since I've already started. I tried to call her but she is not in the office today (surgery day) and I can't find any similar situation on the net. I am not sure if having "extra" progesterone in my system would screw up my chances of ovulating this cycle? Should I continue the pills or stop? Anyone have any experience with this?

No silly answers please. He was never tested, so we are unsure if it took. I know all about vasectomies, it wasn't something we went into lightly. But now we are having second thoughts. I've met about 20 people in the past 1 1/2 years that had spontaneous reversals, so I know it is possible.

well I was going to wait until the month was over to be sure I didn't get AF and I also didn't want to waste the test......but my husband told me I should just take it.....so this morning I had one from a while back and so I took it.....it was +!!!!!!!

I can't believe it........but how accurate do you think it is? what do I do next? I know I go to go for a blood test right? but anything else?

Thanks to all those who sent babydust my way =)

I started taking vitamin b6 a week ago because I have a short luteal phase, my question is if taking vitamin b6 make your temperature raise? because since I started with vitamin b6 my temperatures are a little higher than normal (I didn't ovulated yet) and also will vitamin b6 delayed ovulation or dry my cervical mucus? and it is safe to take vitamin b6 or will I have another problem later? and if I get pregnant should I stop taking it right away or do I have to keep taking vitamin b6?

For all the ladies out there who have taken Clomid and were not able to get pregnant....what was your next course of action specifically? Did you do IVF or another drug in pill form to help you TTC? What finally worked for you??

I just started my sixth cycle of Clomid yesterday. My OBGYN will give me eight cycles of Clomid total before he will reccommend me to a infertility specialist for what he called "further testing and probably a different approach to treatment" and that exactly what that means will be determined if/once I speak with the specialist. I took the time last night to see what else my health insurance covers (it covers the clomid and the testing and etc) and anything beyond taking a prescription for fertility treatment is not covered. That scares me....because I know other treatments are expensive.

Can anyone out there share some experiences with me please? Thanks and baby dust to all the TTC'ers out there!!

I have gotten my blood tested for a month now. the first tiime my level was at 64, then the second time it stayed the same. They were nticipating that it was an early miscarriage, so they were giong to watch it untill it went down. the 3rd time it dropped down to 29, then it dropped to 25, then to 17, then ten days later, it went up to 18. it know that's not a big jump, but it's crazy! does anyone know anything about this or had this happen to them before?
