ok I have asked a few questions this past week or so......about my calendar saying that I was supposed to start on the 8th, exercising while TTC, and some other one about possibly being preg.......

well I was going to wait until the month was over to be sure I didn't get AF and I also didn't want to waste the test......but my husband told me I should just take it.....so this morning I had one from a while back and so I took it.....it was +!!!!!!!

I can't believe it........but how accurate do you think it is? what do I do next? I know I go to go for a blood test right? but anything else?

Thanks to all those who sent babydust my way =)

to just me: OMG! it is som hard for me to remember to take a vitamin everyday....I've tried since for years, but hopefully a good reason like this would help me remember......I took one of my daily vitamins this morning..........

How long does it take for the doctor to get the results back

How accurate do you think it is?

As long as the test was not expired and you got a positive result within the specified timeframe that the instructions on the box or in the pamphlet said- I think it's safe to say it's pretty accurate- C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S !!!

What Do I Do Next?

You need to contact your docotor/OBGYN, tell them you got a positive pregnancy test and that you need to make an appointment. Most likely they will have you come in and will either give you a urine test, or (more than likely) a blood test to confirm. They will also probably give you a physical exam, a pap smear if you haven't had one recently, and they may also do some other tests as well. If you aren't taking any already- I would suggest starting some prenatal vitamins or at least a good multi-vitamin. I would also make sure to start eating a healthy balanced diet if you haven't been already.

What exciting news! You and your husband must be so excited! Glad the babydust sent your way ended up working!
Congratulations, "Momma!"

CONGRATS!!!!!!!!! I'm sooooo jealous! heehee

Call up your OBGYN and make an appointment and make sure you're taking your prenatal vitamins and are eating healthy. False positives are VERY rare. So, if you have not been taking any medications for fertility that could affect it then I would say start doing a happy dance mommy-to-be!!

Congratulations! Good luck to you! I would call your doctor and get a test scheduled to confirm, and they'll get you on a prenatal vitamin and schedule your first prenatal visit. I wish you a healthy pregnancy and baby!
