what works better is a pill given to women diagnosed with polysistic ovarian syndrome called Glucophage or Metformin. We tried and tried to have another child after my now 10 year old son was born. We tried for 4 years. I was told I couldn't concieve without fertility drugs. I said no way. One at a time is enough. I was put on the mentioned med above and just a short year later we learned I was pregnant! i have a neice who tried for 10 years to concieve and could not-5 months after being on metformin she concieved. Look into it and talk with your doctor about putting you on that for a short while-it has better results over clomid.

It can be. It causes more eggs (than just the one) to go through Meiosis, in essence increasing your odds of ovulating. It is also known to produce multiples.
