i was wonderin because my friend took a test a day before she missed period it was -. but she test tha next day (the day it was due and got a +.) i wanna test omorrow tha day before af is due ...have any one test a day before period was due and got a BFP

The things about testing early is that if it's positive, you are sure it's positive. If it's negative, you can't be sure that you're not just testing too early.
However, to answer your specific question, 13 days after ovulation should be reasonably late enough so that if you get a negative, it's VERY probably a true negative. However, you have to be really sure of when you ovulated or really sure of when your period is due.

Why would you want to take it before you even know if you're late or not? It'd be silly to take a test just so that you can start your period the very next day. Just wait until you are a day or two late. Good luck on whatever test result you are wanting.

EPT states that their tests can detect pregnancy from the first day of your missed period. I don't know about all tests but I know that the sooner you test the higher risk you run of having a false negative. Not all pregnancy tests are identical and some are more sensitive than others, detecting lower levels of hCG. The smaller the amount of hCG the test measures, the earlier it can detect your pregnancy. But most preg. tests come in a package of two, so you could take one tomorrow and if it is negative wait another day or two and take another one.

I tested a few days before I was due with this pregnancy and I got a + so I don't see why you can't test the day before.

You could test and it MIGHT show a positive, but most likely won't whether you are pregnant or not. Save your money and buy a test about 3 days after your period...it will be much more accurate!

yeah u can, some test gives an accurate results as soon as 5 days before your period

Yes but if it's neg don't give up hope yet..test again a few days later to be sure. My 1st test was neg then 3 days later was postiive.

theres tests that you can so it as early as 5 days before, look for one of those they have explanations in front of the box, good luck;)
