I know you say just answer, but your chances are basically the same either way...unless! If you have a fertility problem than you probably have very little chance of getting pregnant. Therefore you have a better chance of becoming pregnant with an IUI. With an IUI the sperm don't have to fight their way through the uterus to the egg.
Chance of becoming pregnant during intercourse is 25%. Chance of becoming pregnant with an IUI us approximately 20%.

IUI has a higher % like the person above said.
Most women who are trying IUI have other fertility problems.

i am undergoing fertility treatment right now.
a woman with no fertility problem has 12% chance every month of getting pregnant.
The chances with an iui is 25%.
going natural is more fun, but iui does increase your chances more.
with the iui only the strongest and quickest sperm are collected and placed into your uterus.

IUI treatment; is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Indian Med Guru Consultants. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. I have also read that they arrange financing for international patients, as all surgery is not covered by insurance or by the stinking NHS.
They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor I personally believe that your surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of Healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.
My cousin got her IVF (in vitro fertilization) treatment; IUI surgery done there and she is more than very happy with the results. She is all praise for Indian Med Guru Consultants. She paid just 20% of the cost what she was quoted in USA and it was like a wonderful vacation for her. Hope this helps

i don't comprehend the opportunities of fulfillment, yet my RE advised me that the IUI gets 100x greater sperm (wholesome sperm b/c it is been spun and washed) interior the uterus than intercourse does. What did you hate with regard to the IUI? it is so quicky and difficulty-free. To me, it is the least confusing area of all of it.
