I am on the first cycle of clomid (I am taking 50mg days 5-9)
Today is the 8th day and I took the OPK test and according to
the test I am ovulating. Can that be possible? ... or is it to early?

Yes, it can be possible. My first month of Clomid I ovulated on CD 9, now I'm ovulating on CD 15. Everybody is different the way my dr. described to me is it's just a chart to follow that chart isn't going to know exactly when you ovulate it's just a round about date.

If this is the first day you got a positive opk you may not ovulate today. It can predict up to 3 days or so before ovulation. I would BD just to be sure that test is correct. I am taking Clomid days 5-9 and didn't ovulate until day 19. I am not sure if the Clomid can produce a false positive or not by my doctor said to start using my opks on day 10 or 11. Just a thought.

Usually ovulation occurs the day after your first positive OPK test. It is possible to ovulate this early, every woman is different. The average day 14 ovulation is common... but more common is the off beat early ovulation and late ovulation. You may be. I would recommend having sex today, and tomorrow. If you have a positive OPK test tomorrow, keep on baby dancing. Better safe than sorry.

Yes I believe you can. Everyone is different, so I believe some people ovulate early in their cycle. Its not too far from the average 14 day ovulation. Good luck

Every woman is different. I never ovulate when I am "technically" supposed to. If the OPK says yes, go have some fun! GOOD LUCK!

I recently post something up like this yesterday was my last day to take my pil 3-7 now I am have in cramps, and guess what today is day 8 of my cycle also
