I was diagnosed with PCOS where I didn't ovulate. I used to have 3 to 4 cycles a year. I was on clomid at 50mg for one month and 100mg the next month and I got pregnant, so it does work. I did have a miscarriage at 21 weeks due to an incompetent cervix, but almost three years later and I am trying again. I am taking a pregnancy test today. I have been on 50 mg for the past two months. I will be five weeks if I am pregnant. My cycle has been on like clockwork every 28 days for the past six months and now nothing. God bless, if it is meant to be, it will be. Don't give up. I hope this helps.

oh, i haven't tried clomid yet. i am using metformin though. i am not insulin resistant(IR) either but metformin is supposed to help women with pcos that are not IR or who are mildly IR and therefor it is not detected in blood test. it is becoming the first line of therapy. my doc recommended a combo of metformin and clomid, but i decided to wait a couple o months on the clomid.
the success rate for women with pcos on clomid alone is about 40%. adding metformin does increase yoru chances although i am not sure by how much. metformin may also decrease your chances of miscarriage.
i decided to try metformin b/c i felt that in order to have a healthy pregnancy it was important for my hormones to be in balance. metformin seemed to be the only thing out there that would help with that. b/c i have high testosterone levels (70) i really wanted to try and get it to under 50 which is the level most say is necessary for ovulation.
i have been to several docs so i am a strong advocate of getting a second opinion if possible.

I also have PCOS and am on clomid. I am just about to start my 3rd cycle on it. So far it has not worked for me. I am hoping that my dr will add metformin this cycle as well as the clomid. I am not insulin resisitant either, but I heard that the combination of met and clomid in PCOS patients, works very well. Good Luck to you!!

You should start by not wanting to get pregnant, just have sex everyday or every other day and don't think about getting pregnant, just have fun with your partner. Get more useful information and guides to get pregnant herehttps://tr.im/G7Cce
after sex-put a pillow under your butt or prop your feet up on the wall so your pelvis is tilted
eat healthy
back off caffiene
workout, even if its just a 20 minute walk a day, be active.
