Trying to Conceive - May 2007

I'm 23 my husband and I are trying to conceive this is our first month of really trying.. so this morning I took my first pregnancy test.. I got one of those first response so it would let me know 5 days before my period starts... it came out neg. I was reading the box and it says the percentage goes up the closer you are to start your period I'm suppose to start on monday the 11th so should I take another test on sunday ?
My husband and I don't see why I shouldn't be pregnant... I don't get it... any help please!!

Hi, i have been getting an increase of discharge this month ever time i wipe but it is not smelly nor a different colour than usual. I am ttc(with not much luck!!) and am five days past ovulation, i also have this heavy feeling down there and i have needed to wee quite a bit but it almost feels tight to wee. Do you think this is an infection?? I never had one before so do not know the symptoms, Thanks in advance

Hello all, my partner and I plan to try to concieve again after my period as I had a miscarriage 6 weeks ago. we have only been using the withdrawal method this month to give my body a chance to heal before trying again. My bbt has been the same as usual this month since my m/c except for an extra long pre-ovulatory phase. My temperature has been elevated now for 12 days and I kept wondering when it was going to start to drop which it usually does before I get a period. Then today I started having mild cramps and then had blood when I went to the loo. I assume this is my period, though the second time I checked there was brown blood not red, (which I don't usually get til the end of a period). There hasn't been alot of blood. I am mainly just confused about why my temperature didnt start to fall the few days before my period came as it usually does. Anyone know whats going on?

i can't tell the difference between pregnancy symptoms or zoloft withdrawal effects. i've been having weird tingling feeling in my head since finding out/stopping meds....should i do something about this??? it's got me worried because i haven't noticed that as a preg. symptom.

i missed the baby on 10th march with the onset of periods? we were trying after that also, i again had my periods on 13th april, now the periods are due in on 13th of may?

I just had a miscarriage in February and went through it naturally. Very painful. We had been trying for six months before I got pregnant. We got pregnant with Ally on the first try. I was fustrated enough that it took six months to get pregnant and when I miscarried it felt like the world just fell apart. Friends tried to cheer me up and give me my space too, my mom just told me I was young and could try again, and Michael (my fiance) wasn't much support, I spent many nights crying myself to sleep. At least I felt like he was not much support, I was told that was HIS way of greiving. It felt more like he was blaming me but he said he didn't. All the rest were normal reactions or so I was told.

For the past two months I've been using a digital ovulation predictor kit. It comes up with a smiley face when you're ovulating. My cycle is 31 days so I've been testing from day 14 to day 20 like the instructions say but so far there has been no smiley face. I'm doing the test once a day first thing on a morning.
I have regular periods but even so do you think I might not be ovulating? Or is it possible that I might be ovulating and the tests just don't pick it up? I'm worried I might have fertility problems so is it worth seeing a doctor? There's no point me trying to have sex on days 10 to 18 if the tests are showing I'm not ovulating is there?

Can Progesterone be used to help get pregnant?
I have had no results on Clomid. I am now taking progesterone. I know this does not act as a contraceptive, but does it help in any way to get pregnant? Has this helped anyone like me? I have PCOS.

i have recently had a miscarrage about 6 monthes ago and recently my periods have become very regular where once i would not have a period for 3-4 monthes now i have one every month and that used to last about 2-3 weeks and now its no more than 7 days on my period. i would like to know if having a miscarrage has helped in me being able to concive since it took me 2 years to concieve last time. has anyone ever gone through this?

I tracked my symptoms when I was fertile and had sex during that period of time, like 3 wks ago and lately I have been feeling sick in my stomach in the mornings and my lower back has been hurting the past week and my breasts have felt tender, BUT I had my period which was medium flow bad cramps and it lasted only two days . . . . . so i am not sure to whether to waste my money again and get a neg or what becuz I do not want to disapoint my husband anymore since we have been trying for 7 months now

I am looking for information/current research linking the age of fathers to any possible problems concieving children or any possible birth defects, etc. My husband is 30, so I am really only concerned with anything that might occur between 30 and 35.
