the reason i ask, is because I had my last period on 04/15, then had sex on 04/22 and 04/29 and I dont know how long to wait before taking a test. thanks a bunch!

You could always by the fertility/ovulation tests, but they are expensive. You'll be using a lot because of the irregularities in your periods.
You can try the Basal Body Temperature method, but it can be inaccurate. You could also try checking your cervical mucus (it worked for me!). Around the time of ovulation, it's clear, slippery, and stretchy. Other times, it's milky-white looking and not stretchy.

if you have an extremely irregular cycle you may not be ovulating every month. Talk to a dr about it first, you may need to go on the pill for a few months to regulate your cycle. Good luck!

I think that you should buy an ovulation test! it tells you when you are ovulating! and for the sex thing, i suggest that you take a test immediatly, if you had unprotected sex then there is a chance that you are pregnant!

If you have irregualr periods the best way to know when you are ovulating is to take OPK's.
