I only been on depo provera for a month in a half going on 2 im suppose to go back in july is it possible that if i dont take the depo again i could get pregnant how long does it take??

it really depends on your body. they say it generally takes 3 months or longer for it to be out of your system. i couldnt get pregnant until a year later. my last shot was Nov. 13, 2005 and i got pregnant Nov. 16, 2006. if you already have children your body is more fertile than before so it could take a shorter time period. but like i said it depends on your body. my doctor said if you have a period, you can get pregnant!

You are supposed to wait 3 months after being on the depo shot, because it stays in your system for that long. The depo shot has caused birth defcts in babies so it's important to make sure it's out of your system.

yes you can, you can get pregnant even while on the shot, it can happen right away or it can take up to two years
