Trying to Conceive - February 2007

I was on the pill, I have been off the pill for over a year now and haven't had my period at all, while having sex the condom broke is it possible for me to fall pregnant? Should I take the morning after pill just to be sure? Please help?

ok. My period was 2 wks. late. it came and was light. a few days before and after I had a discharge of thick brownish/red stuff. What's up? ttc almost 6 mo.

Has anyone carried out a home pregnancy test before their missed period & had a positive result? I know you can get some that will test up to 4 days before your expected period but has anybody tested before this & if so how long? Thanks!

My cycle has been pretty screwy lately, therefore I'm not really sure when I ovulated (exactly) or when my period should be arriving. I took a test on Saturday, because I just had a feeling that I was pregnant. After about 30 seconds when I saw that it was negative I walked away. I came back about 2 hours later and there was a BFP plain as day (nice and dark)! I couldn't believe it! I have never gotten a BFP before (even after throwing them away, coming back the next day and taking the stupid thing apart, holding it up to the light and anything imaginable) so I knew that this had to be it! But then I decided to take another test this morning, just to confirm my excitement, and because there were two tests in the box, and this one was negative. I'm so confused! I'm going to the Dr. on the 21st for my pre-conception appointment, so I'm sure they'll tell me then, but I want to know now!! Any suggestions for me? Thanks! :)

i know you are not suposed to diet during pregnancy and believe me i would not risk a pregnancy that i have prayed for all over a bit of unwanted kilos but i was wondering if i eat really healthy and do pregnancy exercises and just do some light walking is it possible that after i give birth i could be lighter (once i loose the baby weight) than i was at the start of the pregnancy?You see im not actually pregnant at the moment im on clomid ttc but im finding it hard to get motivated to shape up because i know i'll get right into it then have to stop when i get pregnant and i just thought if i could safely keep it going through out the pregnancy and possibley loose some weight aswell i will find it easier to get motivated now instead of having to wait until after the baby is born.

For last six months i m trying for baby, my periods cycle were 30,30,36,30,30,30 days and now this time on day 38 I saw dark borwn light blooding with slight clotting and pain and it ends on day 2. does any one know either it is my normal periods or implantation blooding. I am 25 years old, I've been married for 3 years to the most amazing man. The only problem that we have is that he wants children and I don't. Yes, he has a great job and we make a good amount per month, but I never wanted kids, and I feel like I'm obligated to have one just because he wants one. I am a stay at home wife, and a novelist, and I babysit just for fun. I just don't know if I should just give in and try to get pregnant, or if I should keep stalling... what do you think???

Last period dec 26th but the 1 prior was about 10 days late also. My right breast is more soar than the left for a strange reason. I am also moodier than normal. Some slight clear discharge, not very crampy, a little fatigued at night. What do you think? Weve been ttc since june. THANKS!

We've been married for about 4 years. We get along well. My wife really wants to have a baby asap. I don't want to have a baby, especially mine because I believe I have a bad gene (3 out of 5 males in our family have moderate to severe schizophrenia). After seeing a TV program on "60 minutes" regarding fertility clinic a while back we've discussed about going there and getting an anonymous doner sperm. Is this a good idea? If so what is a good fertility clinic in Southern California?

I asked this question a little while ago but didn't exactly get the answers I was looking for. I am trying to conceive and was 3 days late.. the day I was supposed to start around the 8th and on the 8th I felt full blown period symptoms but no period... Today I have had light bleeding but nothing major like usual. There isn't enought blood to wear a light tampon etc... Does this sound like implantation remotely?

My husband and I have been ttc for 9 years with two miscarriages. My family keeps telling me to find someone who looks like my husband, has his blood type and get pregnant by him. i ovulated between the 5-8 of feb. i already have really sore nipples, which i never have even when it's time for my period (i only get sore breasts then). and my period is supposed to start the 22nd. plus ive had abdomen cramps, back aches, and tired earlier. could i be having signs this soon??

My period is always on time, and I never have weird spotting or anything. For the past week or so I've had really tender breasts. According to my calendar, I'm not supposed to get my period for another four days. Yesterday, all day, I had really light pink discharge... at the time I thought it might be implantation bleeding. This morning I woke up with worse cramps than I've ever experienced, going around my whole front and back. I went to the bathroom, and the pink discharge was still there, but about a half an hour later I had really really heavy bleeding, but a different color than usual. It was brown/pink instead of bright red. It bled like that for several hours, and then went to the normal red color, but is still really heavy. Am I having/did I have a miscarriage?

If I tested today and it was neg or tomorrow and it is negative, is it most likely I am not pregnant? I am suppose to start my period on the 16th. I also know exactly when I ovulated, on the 3rd of Feb. and we had intercourse the three days before and on that day, unprotected. So should a test show positive by tomorrow?

I've recently had my second miscarriage in six months. The first was a blighted ovum at 5 wks and our second was classified as a regular miscarriage at 8 wks and only 4 days after we saw the heartbeat on ultrasound. I have two healthy kids from my 1st marriage and my husband and I desperately want a child together. My husband has seen a urologist and all checked out fine. I just had a sonahistogram and my uterus was shown to be perfect. We see a recurring loss specialist March 2nd. I am ovulating now and I want to start trying but I am so scared. My last miscarriage resulted in my being in the hospital over night. I pray we can have the child that we so desperately want.

I had my period last month. Earlier this month I had unprotected sex with my fiance, about two weeks ago today. I have had some spotting and bad cramps off and on through out this week. My breasts are really sore and I never ever had sore breasts before my period, or at any other time. Are these just symptoms of getting off of the Nuva Ring or are these early pregnancy symptoms? What are some symptoms of getting off of birth control? Will have my period on the same day (23rd) as last month or when will it come? I want to take a test but, I don't know when, because I don't know when my period will come if it will be another day. Only serious answers only.

what our chances may be if we had sex on the 31st of January, 1st, 2nd and 3rd of Feb. According to my charting of menstrual cycles I ovulated on the 3rd. My last period was Jan. 19th and my next is due on Fe. 16th. I also took an ovulation test that was positive on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd. On the 3rd I was really mucussy. It was clear and a lot throughout the day. We had sex on the days the test was positive and on the ovulation day. I know you can't tell me if I'm pregnant and a test won't tell me yet, but I'm curious what others think my chances are. I'm quite healthy and already have two children.
