I've recently had my second miscarriage in six months. The first was a blighted ovum at 5 wks and our second was classified as a regular miscarriage at 8 wks and only 4 days after we saw the heartbeat on ultrasound. I have two healthy kids from my 1st marriage and my husband and I desperately want a child together. My husband has seen a urologist and all checked out fine. I just had a sonahistogram and my uterus was shown to be perfect. We see a recurring loss specialist March 2nd. I am ovulating now and I want to start trying but I am so scared. My last miscarriage resulted in my being in the hospital over night. I pray we can have the child that we so desperately want.

I am 34 yrs old. I also was wondering for those of you with similiar experiences what can I expect when I see the recurring loss doctor? Thank you all so much for taking the time to answer my question.

I have a friend who is the same age as you going through the same thing. They've been battling this for six or seven years now. It's been really hard as we started this road of children together then infertility and now hubby and I have a baby and another on the way. During the past year and a half she's had two miscarriages we know of. And, since the beginning it's been dozens of miscarriages...

They have seen many specialists including genetic counselors. But, they found her body is rejecting the baby. So, at least now they know what's going on and are going to try to slow down her immune system so she can carry this baby (babies) to term. I'm praying this works for her!!

And, I'm praying you get the answers you need so you can hold your baby in your arms.

I wish I can tell you everything is going to ok
but no one knows, I have 3 misc & my husband & I deperatly want to have a child also like you my last misc I almost died was giving 1 1/2 pint of blood and 3 days in the hospital after the D&cyet I still want to try again
I am about to try Vitamin B, Progesterone and fertilaid
I been prescibe clomid but scare to take it I feel that I will as a last result
my only advice to you about your visit to the specialist is to clearly tell him that you want a child and ask what can you do to prevent future miscariage (at least something to lessen the chances of another one)
Good luck

You can not live your life in fear of things going wrong because often they do and there is little we can do about it you need to concentrate on the positives here. I understand that is not always easy but you gain strenght and knowledge from everything that doesnt break you so stay strong and enjoy the beautiful gifts that you already have, good luck with all your future pregnancies

God willing there is always a chance. I believe that miracles happen all the time and I will personally pray that you become successfully pregnant and carry to term with a healthy baby. Best of luck and God bless.
