Adoption is a wonderful option for you.
I have friends who adopted, and then they were able to conceive. It's like once they quit worrying about it and trying so hard, they could. There is a lady I know with 4 or 5 kids, one of them adopted. She regularly forgets which one it is, who's adopted.
There could be a psychological aspect to conceiving because there are so many for whom a natural birth was possible after an adoption.

Oh my dear I share your pain, my husband and I tried for 15 years before having our daughter. I am not sure anyone here can answer this question only offer words of support. You need to get yourselves to a fertility specialist and have some tests ( though after 9 years you have probably already done this if not make an appointment and dont be afraid could be something simple). There are so many reasons for infertility in both men and women and just as many ways that you can be helped to achieve a pregnancy or the family that you desire. Dont give up miracles do happen. Good Luck

The list of reasons is too long to name here. The problem could lie in your eggs, his sperm. You could have scarring in the Fallopian tubes which makes it difficult for the egg to travel down the tubes to the uterus. The problem could lie in your uterine wall. We can't tell you. You need to talk to a doctor, a fertility specialist specifically. There are many special clinics, especially in the larger cities. You need to see a specialist. Nine years is too long for it just to be mistiming. Please see a doctor.

Has his sperm count been checked?

Do you have endo or have your had an STD like Chlamydia?

You need to go see an ObGyn - a doctor, 9 years is too long for it to be bad luck.

R u male or female? If female, is your cycle normal? Maybe you need to go to a fertility doc. I know someone that had a hard time for three years because she was very stressed, once she stopped worrying about it all day everyday her cycle bacame normal and then she ovulated normally. (and got pregnant)

Two medical reasons come to mind... unviable eggs and unviable sperm. Get them both tested and find out if there is a problem.
