What if you've been trying for months? And what is the best time to become pregnant?

Generally it takes a healthy couple 6 - 12 months to fall pregnant naturally. I think the best way to tell if you have a fertility problem is to get a referal from your GP to see a fertility specialist. They will then put you and your partner through a series of tests (some fairly invasive) and then you will need to wait for the results. They will be able to advise the best options for you after they have a clearer picture of what is going on with your body.

I think the best thing to do is to go to the doctor. I've heard that there are tests you can take to make sure that you can get pregnant. From there you and your doctor should talk about your options. Good luck sweetie!

"Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler

It will help you learn when is the best time for *you* to conceive, as that may be quite different from the "average" best time.

I just had sex every day while trying to conceive because I wasn't exactly sure when I ovulated and I took a test a day before my missed period and was shocked when it was positive.
