No, that's still only introducing sperm into the uterus. The egg would still not have any way to get there. You can do invitro fertilization.

Lord, people are so dense. (Not you)
Just because your tubes were tied, does NOT mean that you cannot have IVF done and carry a child. A lot of women who regret their tubal ligations and a reversal would not be effective for them, go the IVF route in order to have another child. It IS possible.
People need to do some research before commenting on stuff they know nothing about.

Artificial insemination is when the sperm is washed down & injected into your uterus in hopes of meeting your egg in the fallopian tube. If your tubes are tied, the egg is not going to get htere. You could get pregnant using in-vitro fertilization, that is where they mix the sperm & egg in a petri dish & implant the zygote inside you & hope that it implants.

I'd think that you'd have to have a "test tube" baby wherein they harvest your eggs from your ovary, join them with sperm, create a zygote, and implant them in your uterus. Artificial insemination, as I had to have my son, uses a catheter to put sperm into your tube after you have ovulated. It is hoped that the egg will be fertilized with one of those sperm and that the then fertilized egg will be able to travel down through the tube and into the uterus where it will implant itself in the wall. Tubes that are "tied," from my understanding, stop eggs from traveling down and through the tubes.
