Trying to Conceive - February 2007

Are they worth investing in? Can anyone tell me how they work and whether it is more reliable than using OPK's every month (Which if I added up all the money spent on OPKs I could probably have purchased a fertility monitor by now!. Help would be gratefully appreciated.

Does any one know if the contracepive injection and make you infertile i took it for three years and are now having regular periods for about two years trying for a baby for the same. could it be this still in my system stopping me conceiving?

I ovulated on feb. 9th, I did have sex on the 9th with all the pain in the ovary and clear, stretchy disharge. When can I test for a positive pg test? My period is due for Feb.25.

My LMP started on 10th January. On 29th Jan my husband an I had unprotected sex. It wasn't during my 'most fertile time' but my period is now 4 days late. I have done a test and its negative.
Just for the record, I would be happy if I was pregnant, I am going to family planning tonight to talk to them but I can't concentrate at work and I just want someone to give me an honest answer.

My boyfriend and I are very much in love and he wants children soooooo bad.. I want children to the thing is im 20 i am very mature for my age i dont drink smoke or do drugs i work fulltime the thing is i cant stand young girls having babies and i feel like if i have a child at my age ill go against everything i believe in... there are times i have to go oh yeah im only 20 because i feel look and act alot holder and my boyfriend is alot older then me which im very happy with as i love him to dealth.

Is it wrong to have a child at 20 if your emotionaly and finacialy matture as if i were 30??

Also i feel like my father would be disapointed and mad..

Should i just do what i think is right or wait a few more years

he says it is because for one, my moods and two my family. but i wasnt any different the first time we got pregnant with our now 71/2 month old son. ive been having baby blues since 3 months and i would like our children to be close together. how should i go about the situation. im dealing with it and i wont do anything like poking holes in condoms, i just mean how do i accept the fact of change the way i am. just need advice. no outburst comments. serious answers only.

ok i know you may think this is crazy...but i had an abortion because of my family bringing me down...and i really never had been pregnant before intil dec 2006 so i did not know what to do..but i cried and cried and cried i was very stressed out about it so know i've realized that i can only love me for me and not care what others think..but anyway...i tried again january but i was not lucky...then i went to a website i forgot what it was called too see when will i ovaluate again in febuary...it said febuary 8. but i'm not sure...i did the bbtemp thing and i believe i was ovluating on that day or the day after? what should i do? i have a 28 day cycle i believe...do you think i could become prgnant so soon or is my cycle you think is backed up because of the abortion so i think its my ovluation day but it may not be?

I just had a HSG done 4 days ago. The day when I got the HSG I had soo little spotting as the doctor said I'd have that day. The day after the HSG I started bleeding (not heavy, just normal) almost as if I got my period again. I've had my period for about 2 1/2 days now. I have no pain at all, I am just worried about the bleeding, and I really do not want to go to the hospital. The doctors office has been closed for this three day weekend so I just figured I'd ask for advice. Thank you!

Hi, my normal monthly cycle is 26-28 days 14 days after my last period would have been yesterday..i bought an ovulation kit today at it has come up as negative..im a bit confused as my cycles are always regular so i assumed i would be ovulating 14 days after but the test seems to say different anyone else expericed this or and suggestions why??

i got married before 2 years, initially we were not planning to have baby for about 1 year, but after that we are contineously trying to have baby, unfortunately we are not. i got consulted, Dr. told me that there is infection in my uterus, i was treated 2 to 3 times but no positive result. i also want to know that during intercourse semen get inserted in my vegina, but in morning it comes out, is it OK or is there any problem with it? secondly periods were started on 11th feb, what is the best time for go? i m fed up of getting consulted, is there any way to check the infection and cure it by self.

I have been on amoxicillin for a couple of days, took a pregnancy test this morning & it was positive. Can amoxicillin cause a pregnancy test to be positive if you're not pregnant?
I also took Mucinex once, Nyquill twice, & have had 6 amoxicillin pills, can that effect the baby? I'm maybe 4-7 wks?

Is this a bad idea. They will have to give me shots to numb me and stuff and chances are i am not pregnant yet since its been to short a time but I certainly cant wait until after...Should I just proceed as normal until I am in fact pergnant?

I took a pregnancy test this morning not long after having sex. Could that cause a test to be positive if I'm not pregnant, if some sperm where to somehow get on the urine stick w/ my urine?
If you're taking amoxicillin, could that cause a pregnancy test to show up positive?
Can a baby be harmed if you have taken Mucinex once, Nyquill twic, & have been on amoxicillin for 3 days? I'm probably 5-7 weeks along if I'm pregnant (I usually don't have a normal period).

hii can anybody pliz help me, i have been having spotting/bleeding for 6 days now, i did a test 4 days early on sunday and it was negative. my period is due on Wed 21st but since friday im having pains in my tummy not cramping pains more like muscular soreness down in my abdomen. the spotting has not stopped but its very mild that i dont need a panty liner pliz what could this be as im getting really worried. I'm just curious - how long did it take you to conceive once you started trying? Also, how did you deal with the disappointment each month when you got a big fat negative on an HPT?

Or is it just a very light period. my husband and I have been ttc for over 12 months and I have been charting, lately some one told me that I couldn't count my 6 days of spotting as a period? This would mean I probably ovulated on day 47 the spotting started 7 days later but for 3 of the 6 days there was only maybe once in the day when I wiped and there was spotting. The rest of the time I was completely dry the other three days where slightly heavier but only one panty liner was ever used and that only had a streak in it ... my period's are usually 2 or 3 days of very heavy flow and alot of pain.

I am a bit confused this would mean I am on day 83 and I am 37 days past ovulation. Has anyone experienced implantation bleeding that lasted 6 days or is this just my period like I originally thought?

had fet a week ago and my doctor is not monitoring my hormone levels because he said he gave me crinone and hcg shots every 3 days after transfer. and he said these are enough, but im still worried. Do i need to take the blood tests just to check on my hormones? btw, had 2 failed fet already, and same procedure.

We have been trying since Christmas and I came off the pill after many years in mid November. I used an ovulation calculator this month but a week later noticed the 'mucus' and confirmed LH with an ovulation test. So far my cycle has been 28 & 29 days. I was due on Thurs and I am now 4 days late. I have had mild cramps since Fri but no spotting and nothing today. My last period was very light and lasted only 3 days. We have been having sex every 2-3 days since trying. Can anyone relate?
