ok i know you may think this is crazy...but i had an abortion because of my family bringing me down...and i really never had been pregnant before intil dec 2006 so i did not know what to do..but i cried and cried and cried i was very stressed out about it so know i've realized that i can only love me for me and not care what others think..but anyway...i tried again january but i was not lucky...then i went to a website i forgot what it was called too see when will i ovaluate again in febuary...it said febuary 8. but i'm not sure...i did the bbtemp thing and i believe i was ovluating on that day or the day after? what should i do? i have a 28 day cycle i believe...do you think i could become prgnant so soon or is my cycle you think is backed up because of the abortion so i think its my ovluation day but it may not be?

Yes, abortions can change your cycle. Gail, many women attempt to get pregnant again soon after their abortions because of the natural guilt they feel after killing their child. Please remember, though, that having another baby is not going to bring back the baby you aborted or somehow make everything all better. Your questions is kind of scattered, but I think you are asking if an abortion will alter your period cycle. The answer is yes. I just had a D&C for a miscarraige a month ago, which, in effect, is the same procejure. My period hasn't come yet, whichi it used to be like clockwork.
It seems like you need someone professional to talk to - try your OBGYN.

The abortion doesn't have anything to do with you not getting pregnant, they do have some side effects, but I highly doubt thats why you aren't pregnant...you just started trying again, give it some time....it doesn't always happen right away, so my suggestion, if you want to get pregnant, have sex every day, you never know when it'll happen :) Good luck

let me start by saying if you had been trying for as long as i have there is NO way you would have had an abortion. you had an abortion in dec of 06 now your trying again? your so messed up!

Well sometimes its easier to become pregnant after an abortion. but yes it can mess up your cycle.

sounds like you should wait and makesure you really want to be a parent. you just got rid of your last pregnancy because of what people said to you, and now you want to be pregnant angain? that is jsut crazy!!!!! you might want to try counseling!!!!
