Or is it just a very light period. my husband and I have been ttc for over 12 months and I have been charting, lately some one told me that I couldn't count my 6 days of spotting as a period? This would mean I probably ovulated on day 47 the spotting started 7 days later but for 3 of the 6 days there was only maybe once in the day when I wiped and there was spotting. The rest of the time I was completely dry the other three days where slightly heavier but only one panty liner was ever used and that only had a streak in it ... my period's are usually 2 or 3 days of very heavy flow and alot of pain.

I am a bit confused this would mean I am on day 83 and I am 37 days past ovulation. Has anyone experienced implantation bleeding that lasted 6 days or is this just my period like I originally thought?

I have PCOS so that explain's my long cycles that are sometimes anovulatory I am usually between 28-37 days on my cycle I just thought last cycle was extra long ( 53days) I will be referred for infertility in august .. as last august I had a m/c so I am not classed as infertile until 12 months after the last time I was pregnant.. thank you all for your answers so far.

Implantation bleeding is generally a much lighter form of your normal period & certainly as you describe. You can generally tell the difference by the amount of flow rather than how long you experienced it for & the fact you mention it was off and on and only needed a panty liner definitly indicates it could very much be implantation bleeding.
The only thing I dont understand is the length of your cycles.....normal cycles range from 21-36 days, some can be longer but to be on day 83 would indicate you only have a period every 2 and a half months? Women generally ovulate 14 days before their NEXT period so you take 14 away from the number of days your cycle is long to work out when you ovulated.
What I can advise is if you havent had a period for some time except for this bleeding is that you take a home pregnancy test which should give you some answers. Alternatively, if your not sure you could go to your doctors who can carry out a blood test for pregnancy which are much more sensitive & can detect pregnancy a few days after ovulation.
I hope you get the result youre hoping for! Good luck & all the best!

I don't think that implantation bleeding can last this long. If you think you may be pregnant then do a test.
If you have been ttc for a year and no luck then you should see a doctor. A very long cycle, like you are having, is not associated with fertility.

i would do a test and if it comes back neg go and have a chat with your GP, i cant really give you an answer as to whether its your period or not as all women are different, some months i bleed heavier than others. i bled for 2 days when i conceived my son and the test came back pos on day 3. good luck

I even have under no circumstances had any 'implantation' recognizing in any of my pregnancies yet i comprehend it could ensue. i might in basic terms save a watch on it. If the bleeding gets worse then id see a dr. If it stops then panic over and arms crossed issues could be ok. solid success

no this canot be implantation bleeding as implantation bleeding occurs only one day, what u can do is take a hpt and if it is positive then u should consult a dr as soon as possible as bleeding during pregnancy canot always be safe
