Are they worth investing in? Can anyone tell me how they work and whether it is more reliable than using OPK's every month (Which if I added up all the money spent on OPKs I could probably have purchased a fertility monitor by now!. Help would be gratefully appreciated.

I use the clear blue easy fertility monitor...I think it works great..yes it is a little costly but it really does the job....Very easy to read and pinpoints all your fertile days....not just 24-48 hrs before ovulation...it gives a digital read out for low med and high fertility days....In my opinion its well worth the money if you are having a hard time trying to conceive....I did conceive using it, but I had a miscarriage and I am currently trying again....Good Luck~

I too invested in one. I like it much better than the over the counter tests. This is my second month to be using it and I like the idea that it tells me exactly what's going on instead of having to decipher the color of the line. It is rather costly, but I've had a couple of friends who have had luck with it.
