Trying to Conceive - October 2006

Since taking birth control for 8 years, my body don't know how to ovulate, my dr. put me on Provera to get the period started, then Clomid so I would ovulate and get pregnant. Annyone who has taken provera for 7 days, twice a day, how long did it take you to bleed after the last pill?

I ovulate and have very regular periods. I have a cycle generally of 28 days and a luteal phase of 13 days. I began to TTC 8 years ago and was never successful until this summer (not trying) I got pregnant , then had a miscarriage at 6 weeks. Now we would like to try again, but we are having no luck. We do not have male factor issues, and my tubes have been checked. I have had thyroid testing in the past, but my new dr. ordered an insulin test to check for resistance. From what I have read, this is mostly related to PCOS, and most of the women with this do not ovulate regularly. I ovulate every month like clockwork. Could this still be the problem for me ?

How far along were you when you first started noticing a smell differenct that made you nausated? Today when i went to the store riding in the car made me really sick then i got out and i was okay then we went to mcdonalds and there food just the smell of it i really thought about opening my door and puking in drive thru....

Well 5 yrs ago I gave birth to my son and went on the depo shot for a yr. well that messed everything up, my periods have been so irregular that it isn't funny. they may come and they may not. The docs told me about 2 yrs ago that I had PCOS. I have been trying to get pregnant and can't. Need advice or info please.

I am 28 yrs old...and have no kids yet. I did get pregnant once though 3 yrs ago. Then I took yasmin for 9 mths only. stopped taking yasmin since sept 05. ...haven't had normal periods since oct 05...I want to get pregnant soon...but not sure if i'm ovulating! doctor says i'll put u on pill to regulate periods...i took provera couple of times and got periods. if i don't take pills i don't get periods....but i don't want any more pills in me! can someone tell me if its possible to get pregnant inspite of not having normal periods for over a year?

This month was my first month back on the pill after being off of it for a month. My husband and I had sex almost every day, and we didn't use a back-up method of birth control. My period was 1 day late, and then on what would have been the 2nd day late, I got my "period". It was very light and brown at first, then got heavier and red so I put a tampon in; then 5 hours later I took the tampon out and it was only about halfway used, and I used a pantyliner after that, and today there is so light brown that it is hardly anything! It's like my period came and went in a flash and it was really light! Is it my pills making it this way, or could it be implantation bleeding? Let me know what you think.

Suggesting I started my period on Oct 6th with a cycle of 29 days, I would have ovulated on Saturday. According to WebMD.. I could expect today to be implantation day. Does that sound too soon? It's creepy because I just went to the bathroom and was spotting! This has never happened to me before, Not this early!!! HELP

The blood is a bright reddish to deep pink color

My period was a day late, and I had no cramps or anything, but then it started and I put a tampon in. About 5 hours later I took it out and it was only halfway covered, and then it was really light the rest of the day(so light that I only used a pantyliner, and even that was hardly used), and today it's gone! I am 22 yrs old and TTC. My Hubby and I have had tests and they all came back fine. We have been trying for over a year with still no outcome. Is there any tips or advice that someone can give to me to help my chances? I think that I may be pregnant now as I am 10 days late and have some symptoms which includes: Extremley sore breasts, weird stomach cramps near my belly button, Feeling generally uncomftable and hungry all the time. Today is D day and there is no sign of my period any where except for the sore boobs. Im on a 27 day cycle and maybe should wait until tommorow but my period you could set a clock by. Im scared to test for fear of being let down again. But I'm so anxiuos i want to know. what do I do? Also i fell like i got hit by a ton of bricks my whole body is sore that only happens when i am really sick. But i'm not. I fell fine. What do I do. Since those tests predict ovulation better, and boys are produced when you have sex closer to the actual ovulation since they survive shorter amount of time than female sperm... Do women who use these ovulation predictors end up seeing a greater percentage of boy pregnancies?? Anyone who has used them, I am just wondering.

I had a miscarraige on 9/18. I was six weeks total, so not that far along. after I finished bleeding, We started having sex again unprotected. The doctor gave the OK. I started getting preg symptoms again with a high basil temp. When my period was a few days late, my temp dropped but was still above my base line, and I started bleeding bright red blood with heavy cramping. That only lasted a day, after that it was dark and tapered off. I also had tissue like I did in the previous miscarraige. I bled/spotted for 8 days total. This whole time my temp has been above the cover line with the exception of two days that weren't in a row. now I'm getting hardcore pregnancy symptoms again, and the blood just stopped. I took a test, and couldn't decide if there was a line or not. I'm not seeing a doctor until next week. In the meantime, what do you guys think happened?
