Well 5 yrs ago I gave birth to my son and went on the depo shot for a yr. well that messed everything up, my periods have been so irregular that it isn't funny. they may come and they may not. The docs told me about 2 yrs ago that I had PCOS. I have been trying to get pregnant and can't. Need advice or info please.

The key word here is Perseverance...If you get too excited and anxious you will not get pregnant...I know because I experienced the same thing..I hated when people told me what I am telling you right now...because I did not want to hear it!!!!

I wanted another baby and I wanted it NOW...:-) so after so many attempts and anxiously waiting for years!!....one day I gave all my hope and I thought I could not have any more children that my only child at this point he was 7, he was going to be my only one...

when I gave all hope...it happened...but I noticed I was expecting when I was 3 months pregnant...:-) so imagine that...my baby girl is now 6years old and my boy is 13 :-)

Don't get discouraged and if you have checked with your doctor(if you have not you should) and he has determined you are good to go then all I can tell you my dear is to hang in there...

And make love to make love not to make a baby because you need to be in the right state of mind :-) When your kids ask you mommy why was I born?...you can tell them You where born out of Love :-)

I hope you conceive soon who noes maybe you are and don't even notice :-) Good Luck let me know I'm really curious to know if you full filled your dream and one more thing...God Bless you for being a woman who is blessed and chooses to have the toughest and most rewarding job on earth...motherhood...
God Bless..

i was in that exact situation. after getting off of the depo it takes about a year to be able to concieve again. my periods have always been irregular since i first got them at 12. best thing to do is to eat alot of spinach, gain some weight. your hubby may have to lose some weight and stop drinking and smoking if he does. there is a way to check when you are ovulating without getting any test. go to babycenter.com and on that site they show you exactly what to do and even provide a chart for you to monitor when you ovulate. Just because you dont' get a period as often doesn't mean you don't ovulate, trust me. it was a pain in the butt to find out when i was pregnant because my cycles are very irregular (they come and go as they please) i hope this has helped you some. GOOD LUCK!!

My sister has the same thing - only she never had the depo shot - it took her almost 3 years to get pregnant with her daughter :) she's the best mom ever! Here's what she attributes her success to - Foot Zoning (Zonology) It sounds totally hokey - but it works! She had tried Clomid, and that didn't work for her. She miscarried once before she actually got her little princess here. There is hope - just hang in there :) Best wishes to you!

i am also 23 and i had my first son Aug of 2001 i was on the depo shot until 2004, it took me one whole year to get my period at least half way becoming regular, i finally got pregnant in 2005 with my second child. just be patient and stay calm and soon enough it will happen probably unexpectedly. i wish you the best of luck!

adopt one of the MILLIONS of orphans out there. it is a crime against humanity AND the world is grossly overpopulated. get with the program.
