It all depends in what type of area you live. My daughter is 12 and she always has to go with me. But some parents, in certain circumstances, if they have a group of good kids, and I mean good kids, allow them to go by themselves.
But as for you, you seem like a nice girl, why don't you wait for a few years more to go alone, you sound cute and smart by asking this question, but there are some many bad people out there. I could not or want anything to happen to you or your friends. Remember the nicest looking people could be the worst people that can cause you harm. Go with your parents, just asked them to stand way back from you. ok? Have fun.

if you're 11 years old and you want to go trick-or-treating with just friends, it would be safer at the mall. (a lot of malls do trick-or-treating; the stores give out candy.) it's a public, open place... the world has changed so much. it's not as safe as it used to be. it's not that i wouldn't trust an 11 year old; i wouldn't trust all the other people whose houses you'd be knocking at. you don't know these people and they could very well be dangerous. good luck on making your decision.

No. An adult should always be present. There are too many bad people in the world who hurt children. Always go with a parent, please.
Happy Halloween!

My older son was 11 when he started going with his friends with no adult. I still have to take my younger son so we would see him around the neighborhood. If you have a cell phone offer to bring it with and make sure you answer if they call.

Your little one is greater in all likelihood to be attacked by potential of a relative than have some stranger leap him on Halloween. do no longer fall for the scare approaches of liberals that choose to suck each and all the exciting out of lifestyles.
