I just started Clomid today and have 10 pills. You need to take 2 a day for 5 days. They are 50mg a piece and taken 2 you will be doing 100mg a day. Good luck..

The first day of your period is day 1 of your cycle. So if your Dr. said to take it day 1 - 5, and there are 10 pills, then take 2 pills each day beginning the day you start your period.
The only side effects I get from Clomid are irritability and occasional night sweats. I conceived my daughter on it. I am in my 4th month ttc again.

YOU do need to speak with your doc again if you did understand what he meant
but my gues is that you have being prescibe it for 2 month or he want you to take 100mg instead of 50 because each tablet is 50mg
clomid need to be taken during your period
you can either start day 1-one not the day you see that your underwear have blood but the next day (that is day ) until the end of your p usually 5 days
side effects are , moodiness, headache, hot flash,
it is just as if you are going throw menaupose
Good Luck

Yes, it's okay. I took them day 5-9. You should try one pill for 5 days this month and if you don't ovulate, try taking 2 pills a day for the five days untill ovulation occurs. Your doctor should answer any ?'s you have if you don't understand. Good luck. I'm 8 1/2 weeks pregnant, after trying for almost a year, my doc put me on Clomiphene cuz i don't ovulate, and it worked the 1st month. Hope youre as lucky. Oh and the side effects: I was sick for the 5 days taking it, but it's so worth it. I couldn't drive cuz my vision was fuzzy, and I was nauseous the whole time. But, like I said I only went through it for 1 month to get results. :)

Very good luck to you hun!!!
p.s. actually one "side affect" the doctor said could possibly happen was to have more then one baby. But I only had one.
