Since taking birth control for 8 years, my body don't know how to ovulate, my dr. put me on Provera to get the period started, then Clomid so I would ovulate and get pregnant. Annyone who has taken provera for 7 days, twice a day, how long did it take you to bleed after the last pill?

it was 3 days for me and this might be TMI but it was not a normal flow...like when i would wear a pad nothing would be on it except in the morning after sleeping all night. it would only be there when i whiped.

I have been on Provera twice. First time for 7 days and the second time for 5 days. I was also on the birth control shot for 6 years. It took about 7-10 days to start my period each time after provera. I just took provera on Oct. 13,06 for 5 days and started my period on Oct 23, 2006. I also began clomid today. Good Luck!

I didnt get my period at all, so I had to take another pill to start my period and that didnt work, I just had to let me body take its course, and just like you on was on Depo for 6 years. Best of luck to you!

never taken birth control pills.married for 5 years with 2 kids.
