About 2 weeks. Implantation doesn't occur until about a week after ovulation. Intercourse has to be timed with ovulation in order for the egg to be fertilized. A woman's body doesn't start producing the hcg hormone (which is what a pregnancy test will detect for a positive result) until implantation occurs. The hcg hormone level doubles every 2-3 days. Most home pregnancy tests can't detect the hcg hormone if the level is less than 50.

Normally, it takes 10-12 days for the pregnancy hormones to show up on a test. But, you can go to your doctor or Planned Parenthood and they can do a blood test that can tell you much sooner than the over the counter tests. It costs around twenty dollars I think. Good luck!

You normally should wait until you have missed the first day of your period. That is about 14 day from ovulation for most women. The First Response test is the most sensitive test and can be used up to I think five days before your period.

you can get PG tets that can show around the 7-10 days after intercourse. i use these but to get the best answer wai at least til 1-2 days after the next missed period

It is not so much after intercourse as it depends on pregnacy that could be anywhere from 2 weeks to 4 weeks after conception.

a test can show the correct answer with in 10 days
but everybody is different
for some people is when they miss a period or after a few days

TIME sweety. normally it takes 1 to 2 weeks but to be safe i would wait about 3 weeks. and make sure that the mother does not smoke too much drink or any of that stuff well good luck
