Trying to Conceive - September 2006

my husband and i have been trying to concieve for months now. i finally used a opk yesterday and it showed a surge. i have been ovulating almost 5 days earlier then i've thought all along!

so we had intercourse twice last night. what are the odds we concieved?

i know the opk shows a surge when you're about to ovulating in the next 24-36 hours or so, am i done ovulating since i took the test exactly 24 hours ago, or if were were to have intercourse again tonight, would my chances be even greater?

Ok we've been trying to conceive for a few years now, I started taking Ovulex a month ago and we had sex and the right days, the right positions and the right way(you know like not getting up after having sex and the pillow underneath your tooshie) so there a good chance I could be, I just don't feel any different, is it too soon to feel anything? I've heard a lot of girls say that they know right away cause they feel it. What I'm also concerned about is that I haven't had any kind of discharge lately and I normally do (the normal discharge of course). I'm should expect my period the 25th of this month.

My conception kit by concievex is here! i was wondering if anyone here has used it, is using it, or knows of a website, chat forum? im looking to talk with others who have tried this method to concieve. the only site i can find is www.conceptionkit.com and i dont want thats website its not very helpful. please help any answeres would be apreciated.

My husband and I recently decided for me to get off the pill a month ago. We have been having intercourse every other day trying to conceive. I have read about a lot of symptoms of pregnancy, and lately I my breasts have been hurting.. but mostly my nipples have been hurting. I am not due for a period until Monday. Anyone have any suggestions as to why my nipples hurt so bad? Thanks :)

From what I've been reading on the boards, from friends and articles. I find it funny that people are told if they can't conceive in one year they are infertile. What the heck is that bullcrap ?

No one ever said everyone would get pregnant in a year, your body knows when you're ready and so do other things as well such as whatever GOD you believe in or energy if you dont believe in GOD.

Believe me I know the pain of thinking I was infertile. My husband and I tried for 5 yrs before our son was conceived. Got out of debt ( erased that stress ). Lost 52 pounds and bought a new house, life was getting on track and wham!

Im just wondering if any of your dr's or freinds dr's have told them they were infertile or probably couldn't have kids after ONLY one year ?
This might be a ploy to get people to spend more money on the drugs

Am I? Something is Different this Month?
As you can guess we are trying to conceive... well yet again I have gotten my Period... but there are some differences from what is normal... First of all my Period is a week early. Second, normally I get killer cramps that make me throw up because they are that painful... but this month there are no cramps and I'm just nausious. Lastly I have been peeing like horse for the past 3 days...Could I be preg? Should do a test. Oh and no Ta ta Tenderness... at all.

Well by lunch time my period was over everything was clean... and I'm still nausious...

I took a pee test yesterday and I know the chances are slim but today I looked at it and it had a line. Here's the situation. I was at work and after I looked at it at like 2 minutes I got mad and went back to work (I have a private bathroom so I was the only one so I just kept it in the cabinent) Anyway this morning I looked at it and it had the line. Is it possible? I'm retesting today but I have to wait until my lunch hour but just curious if any one else had been in this situation and what their outcome was. The line is definately blue but it is faint.♥ Please spare me any rude or retarded comments. Thanks♥

I just want to know i'm not on any birthcontrol or anything, and i want to get pregnant. but i was just wondering if i become pregnant and dont know it yet and drink alcohol could i harm my baby? I've been asking questions about pregnancy tests on here for the past few days, and so many people have answered with really good advice. So I have one more.....I have been taking tests because my husband is convinced that I'm pregnant, but I don't feel it, and since this would be my fifth pregnant I think I would know by now....right? Anyway, I took one on wed. said yes, then one said no, then yesterday morning with the first morning pee said no, but yesterday afternoon said yes, and now the same brand I used yesterday afternoon says yes again.....so because I feel like this is my first tiem all over again with all the damned tests.....what do you guys think? Only one brand keeps saying yes and the other name brands say no.....soooooo???

I've been feeling different. I had very early cramps on Tuesday and Wednesday. On thursday i realized my nipple were darker. White spots on the nipple and now they are very sensitive. I took a pregnancy test this morning and it was negative. I'm supposed to get my period on Monday. Do you think it was too early to test? Has anyone got a negative result but was actually pregnant?

I have been to my doctor and he told me when I will be ovulating and when I have to try to get pregnant. My husband is 40 and has a son out of his previous marriage. We have been trying for three year without any luck. Sometimes my periods are late and then I think I might be pregnant but without any luck. We do not have the amount of money to pay for tests and all that and need another few suggestions like if there are anything my husband can take to make his spermcount more as well as something for me.

I have been married for 14months now,my husband and i have been trying to 6months and no luck, ive been charting my ovulations, been taking folic acid, prenatal vitamins (pregnacare) for the past 7 months, lifting my legs in the air for 30mins every time after we finish, basically trying everything and NOTHING! I dont know what more i can do....im mentally stressed and physically tired, ive just booked myself a holiday for a few weeks just to get away and relax, to get my mind off things. They did a preg test on me 6 weeks ago at hospital (I was due for an xray) and it came up negative. However, I'm not sure I'd even ovualed yet around that time.

I'm now 3 weeks late.

I've been having cramps in my lower back, and twinges (which are not the same as the pre-period pains I usually get) in my ovaries.

I've had an infection of the urinary tract, and I've been taking antibiotics for it.

Despite all this, I've had what seem to be blatant symptoms.

Cravings - If I crave one thig to eat, but can't get it, I don't want ANYTHING else.

Nausea - Certain smells are making me feel really sick, to the point of retching when I smelled the cat's food this morning. Also I'm feeling nauseous every time I wake up, be it morning or afternoon.

Tiredness - I'm really tired, and needing a sleep every afternoon.

Also, I've read that lower back pain can be a symptom of pregnancy.... but it feels similar to when I'm about to get my period..

This may be a really weird question! We have been trying to concive (my fience and i) with no luck!
Wehad a thought that it may have something to do with the fact that he works in 50 degrees, 12 hours a day. Could this be killing it?
And if so, how long does it take to generate healthy, normal sperm?
