as long as you are not far along and stop immediately, it probably will not cause your baby any harm

I actually went out and pulled a major drunk a couple of weeks before I found out I was pregnant. My daughter was healthy at birth and still is. I think everyone has that concern. Would alcohol harm the child if you didn't know you were pregnant? Probably not. However, have you considered that the consumption of alcohol may prevent you from conceiving? Might want to take that into consideration and decide what is more important - a couple of drinks or a baby? Best of luck to you!!

You should not drink at all if you think you are pregnant. The first couple of months of being pregnant are the most important. It is when the baby is starting to develop. And if you are trying to get pregnant i would quit drinking too cause the studies have shown that if you are drunk while the baby is concieved the chances of Down's Syndrome are higher

A few drinks during the couple of weeks would not harm the baby.

HI,
I also asked the same question last night as I only have 2 drink's at the most in a week, all my responses were...if you are TTC then DON'T DRINK! It does make sense as you never know when you will conceive, and I don't want to harm my unborn baby,as I am sure you don't either.GOOD LUCK!!

Just lessen the amount and frequency of drinking until you know. Just think of all the people who didn't know and got wasted, and not only on alcohol mind you. So it's not a big deal. I drank and smoked cigarettes a few times before I found out.

Don't worry about a few drinks now but if you are serious it would be prudent to abstain. It is the irresponsible people who drink excessively, knowing they are expecting that cause the damage to their innocent babies

Don't drink. It actually makes it harder to concieve and could potentially harm the developing baby.
