So how do you tell the difference between a positive and an evap line? I have a very faint blue line but it is soooo faint. Any advice? Please don't say retest I know that much♥

the evaportation line usually shows up way after the time frame to check for the results. So if u looked at the test before the time frame was up then its most likely positive. But if you looked to long after it could be the evaportation line. So yea just retest even though u know that much and if it shows up again before the recommended time then congrats.

The tests will say two lines whether faint or not is a positive.. a negative test is very clear one solid blue line no faintness anywhere...Congrats... but I know you said not to say this but retest in another week or so

My OB said any line is positive - no matter how faint. Congratulations! Your OB will most likely have you take a blood test to see what your hcg levels are. If they are low, they may have you take another blood test in a couple days to make sure they are rising normally. Your hcg level should double every 2-3 days.

If it has color to it and you can clearly see that is has color (not gray or ghost like) then congrats you are pregnant. I had faint lines for the past few days and am waiting on a dr.'s appt. but I'm fully confident that you don't get false positives. The tests are designed to only react if the hCG hormone is detected. Try again tomorrow morning and if you get the same thing then CONGRATS!!!!!!

how long did you wait to read it. if the faint line came up within ten minutes its positive if not its negative retest to be sure or see your doctor for a blood test

I know you said not to tell you to retest, but that is basically what you have to do. Take another one, a different brand or just go to your gyno. I would just go to they gyno and get tested, that way you know for sure if you are or not the doctor is there to answer any questions you may have. Oh and tell your husband to go along with you. The both of you should get the news together.

A faint line is also positive nomatter how strong or weak it is. congratulations your gonna be a mommy!

you have to make sure its fully blue and if that doesnt work then i suggest taking it agian
