Trying to Conceive - September 2006

I am 38 years old and currently going through AI to get pregnant. The first time I tried, everything went like clockwork--I ovulated right on time and went in for AI. Unfortunately, I didn't get pregnant and got my period 4 days early. Then when I was supposed to ovulate again (which has been consistent around day 12-14 for 6 months) I didn't ovulate between day 12-14. I started panicking that I would never ovulate again. I had to order a "specimien" for delivery becuase it was over Labor Day weekend and they were closed. The thing only stays frozen for 7 days in the container they provide. Well, the specimen went bad before I actually ovulated---which was day 18 (but would have been right on target if I had my period at the normal time).

I am getting ready for my period again and another round. I know I have to relax, but in the back of my mind I'm worried that things won't work out this time becuase of what happened last time. How do I relax and not get paranoid??

hello every body.i am 40+ i have 2 kids from previous marraige. 2 M/C one in 2004 and 2nd 3/5/2006.my period are very regular.my husbend has no baby,i took clomid in july and dr told me i had good egg 2.8 and good chance to get pregnant but i didnt get pregnant and my period came but i bled only 2 days normally i bled 4 days.my last period was 8/5/2006 and i didnt take clmid in agust but i missed my period on 1st day of my period i stared duphaston hormon tab to fix placenta and prevent M/c but after 4 days i stop taking these tablets,i went to dr at 5th day of missed period she took blood test but it was negtive dr told after ultra sound my ovries are big when i get my period come again .i am worried i have cramp like period and my breast are sore like peiod sign but no peiod. i think i am pregnant but no nausia.any body can help what going with me i am prgnant ?please i need help

My husband and I are trying to concieve and we went about it the right way with knowing when I ovulate, taking vitamins,and using a lube called pre-seed to give a warm and wet optimal environment for sperm to give us a greater chance to concieve. I ovulated on the nineth,had sex 2days before the day of and 2 days after.It's now 4 days since trying and I had cramps yesterday and today is it possible to go through implantation with just cramps and sore breast and not bleed?

I have all the symptoms still I am so sick I keep throwing up every time I eat, I was only two days late of my period and I am never late in my life I am regular even when I stress about work and other things.....my period is normal, except for the cramping kind of hurts a little more but just a little, the bleeding is normal maybe a little heavy but nothing different, even though nothing is different besides missing two days of my period, could I still be pregnant? is there a chance or is this in my head?

22 yrs old, me and my hubby have been trying to conceive and we started having unprotected sex every other day since August 15. my last normal period was Aug 6. im 9 days late. Sept. 7 i went to the doctor to do a pregnancy test and it was negative. i feel tired during the day but not enough to fall asleep, my boobs are slightly sensative mostly the nipples. i had period like cramping for only two days about 4 days ago. If i am pregnant i might be about 5-6 weeks.Im waiting for sunday to test again. anyone with the same? what do you think?

we you know what on Jan. 27, 06 is it possible to be 35 weeks now? they say the due dates Oct. 20th, 06. is this right? I didn't cheat I wanna be sure!!

He thinks I cheated because when I was 34 weeks I went into preterm labor, he wants a DNA test but the baby is his. I DID NOT CHEAT!!!!

My cycle is usually a short one of 24 days Im now on cycle date 28 and still no period. I have tested already and its coming up negative. I did have some very mild cramping on Wed but that just faded away. Usually the cramping gets steadily worse for me then my period arrives! I dont even feel pre-menstrual at all...

I cant get a doctors apt til the end of next week that is the soonest available.. im afraid something is wrong.. at first it was brown clumpy now its a light blood. i miscarried in april. is my body messed up from that still? and i have been trying to get pregnant again.

Just curious as to how much each of these procedures cost. Does anyone know? I don't have the slightest clue in the world. I'm not looking for a total...but perhaps there is someone out there who has had to pay for an HCG shot. I'm under the impression that most insurance doesn't cover these things because it's considered infertility treatments. Am i right? Thanks.

My last normal (5 day, heavy bleeding) period started Aug.2nd. On Sep. 2nd I started bleeding (really light) and only lasted 3 days. Now, if that was my period then I should have been ovulating today. And usually when u ovulate you have clear stretchy mucus, right? Well.....I have nothing of that.
My boobs have been tender, naucious some times after eating or in early morning when at work, boobs feel heavy and in the middle of the nipple I have small white spots.
I have a doctors appointment on Tuesday for a blood test.
What do u ladies think of this? Just want your opinions.

Okay So my last period was on aug 18th and I still haven't started my period I am not even experiencing premenstrual symptoms (cramping,bloating,etc...) Should I take a pregnancy test or wait a few more days??? My cycles last 21 days and are very regular! What do you think??

thank u for giving me good advice. but i have another question , i want to know for examlpe i get my period every month and the end of the mont any where between the 27-31 of the month. But this month (September) i got my period late. It came down on the 6 of September. I know sometime that happens but i had my hopes all up and the month of August nothing no baby. Well i just want to know from ur exp. to see if it's normal. I alreadyhad a pap done the last month and i;m ok, on prenatal vtms for about a month now. I will try to relax. Have anyone of you or someone you know had dreams of being pregnant then found out you were? That is what happened with my first, and we wernt even trying to conceive. Now we are trying but having a hard time. I did have a dream the other night but i don't know what to think because I might just want it so bad now I am dreaming about it??/
I dreamt that I took to preg test and the doc said you are pregnant really loud and then I cried and told my hubby?? Let me know your stories Please

Hi everyone
I am 3 days post O and today have had really nasty cramps like period pains ! They didnt last for long but i had to take painkillers. They were just the same as period pains but not due for another week and only ever get them when i bleed and not all the time then !? Could this be implantation cramps ? I have no bleeding as yet !?

Why are some people so mean on here? I just asked a question about trying...I am a woman in my 30's..not a girl and my husband and I want to start a family of our own. I suppose a we do want a miracle because I believe children are a miracle. Stop being so ugly. This is a stressful time for most women on here.

I was on the pill and stopped it because I am trying to concieve. My periods (on the pill) have always hit around the 27th or 28th of every month. I stopped the pill the end of july and my next period hit August 11th or 12th. I'm not sure how the whole ovulation is timed but i had a blood test and it was negative. So i'm wondering if it's possible that my body could still be used to having periods at the end of the month (like i did on the pill) and my ovulation time is based on that instead of last month having my period on the 11th???
Any comments?
