Blood type does not matter in the least bit. The only thing that does is Rh factor. You'll have a blood test on your first ob visit so that they can determine what your Rh factor is. You can also have your boyfriend's blood tested to see what his Rh factor is. If you're both Rh negative, you won't need a Rhogam shot as your baby will be Rh negative as well. If one of you is positive, and one is negative, then you'll need a Rhogam shot to prevent your body from building anti-bodies to the Rh factor at birth. It won't affect your first baby in the least bit, it's to help protect future babies. So don't freak out, you'll be fine. =)

If the female has a negative rhesus factor and the male has positive, and the baby has positive blood, then there is a problem. But nowadays all you do is get a shot of Rhogam and it takes care of the problem. The problem is not usually with the first pregnancy but with and future pregnancies, If Rh positive blood mixes with the mother's Rh negative blood, which can happen during the child birth process, the the mother builds antibodies against the postive Rh and her body will automatically try to abort future fetus' with a positive Rh factor.

Because you and the father both have O positive blood it will be fine. Even if he were negative and you were positive you would be okay. It is only when the female has the negative Rh factor that there is a problem.

You're luckier than I am! My fiance is O+ and I'm B- so I have to very careful during any pregnancies and can only deliver at a hospital. The actual group is not a problem, it's the rhesus+ or rhesus- that causes an issue. Have a look at the Blood Service website, they explain it a lot better than I ever could!

Having the same blood type should in no way affect the baby.

you both have the most common blood type and this will have no effect on the baby at all. the only problem that blood types have on the baby is if the mother is resus - so if you were o- and your partner was o+ thats when trouble can occour, so dont worry, and good luck with the future xxx

No it won't affect getting pregnant, But after you do you will require an RH test, This will dertermine if you and you husband/boyfriend are both either RH+ or RH- if you are Both RH- you will recieve a shot, that will prevent the baby from fighting its own blood supply, make sure your dr does this test!

You should start by not wanting to get pregnant, just have sex everyday or every other day and don't think about getting pregnant, just have fun with your partner. Get more useful information and guides to get pregnant here https://tr.im/x1x2e
after sex-put a pillow under your butt or prop your feet up on the wall so your pelvis is tilted
eat healthy
back off caffiene
workout, even if its just a 20 minute walk a day, be active.

Nope it won't influence the child in any respect. quite the only ingredient that has effects on mom and infant with regard to blood types is the RH ingredient. My mom is O- so while she became pregnant with me she became at risk as became I however the photographs help that challenge.

blood types aren`t an issue , the only blood problem during pregnancy is the rhesus negative type , its not a big problem as such and is carefully monitored during pregnancy and mum will need an injection of anti D , after delivery .

It only matters if the + or - are different.

Especially if YOU are rh-. Then you need a shot of Rhogam. But it shouldn't have any effect on conceiving the first time.
