Can you provide more details please? What tests have you done? Did they do a hysterosalpinogram on her to make sure her tubes were not blocked? Have you been tested to make sure you have good motility, mobility, etc? Does your wife ovulate? Did clomid increase the amount of ovulating eggs? How old is your wife? Either of you have other children?
Don't rush into IVF, it's hard emotionally and physically, just my suggestion. I would try a couple months of IUIs (where they insert "washed" sperm higher up into the vagina.) It costs less than IVF and doesn't require injectable hormones (just HCG, which triggers ovulation and doesn't have side effects).
Keep us updated. I spent 3 yrs ttc and now have a 3 month old son. (Seriously, it was accupuncture and herbs that worked for me. And that's after going to the best drs in nyc. Hard to believe, I know, but true none-the-less.)

I did clomid to try and fall pregnant and every time it didnt work the Dr upped the dose. i truely hated that drug as it made me gain weight rapidly and caused depression like symptoms.
After we did clomid out specialist had us do "ovulation induction" which involves your partner injecting hormones into her belly daily for 2 weeks (blood is monitored to check hormone levels) and then on about day 14 they will give her an internal ultarsound to see how many egg producing follicles have developed. The ideal is one. If there is 2 or less she then injects another hormone to make her ovulate and then sex is either timed to occur at the time she ovulates or if they are doing "IUI" (intrauterine insemination) they will take your sperm sample and inject it into her.
I did ovulation induction about 4 times - it is more costly and is supposed to be more effective than clomid but again this didnt work for me either. One time the overstimulated my ovaries and i was up vomitting all night.
I was then told that we should try ivf given that we had yet to have success with ovulation induction. I was not ready to that so i put it all out of my mind and booked a trip to the greek islands.
After 3 years of trying, i found out two weeks before my trip that i was pregnant the good old fashioned way.......i am 16 weeks now and the belly is really starting to grow.
Anyway my hopes for you are that you too will fall pregnant without assistance but there certainly are options out there for you if you need them. Good luck

They can increase her dose of clomid. The starting dose is usualy 50mg a day for 5 days but the dr. can go up on to 100, 150, 200, and 250mg. What dose is she on now? A lot of drs use the drug femara and then the next step would be injectables. If she with her regular gyn or a reproductive endocrinologist?

Her next step is to go through IUI (intrauterine insemination). She will have to monitor when she ovulates. She will get an a transvaginal ultrasounds to verify if she has enough follicles and then they will inseminate your semen inside of her. Your semen will get washed before this process (concentrated). It's an easy and painless process. I've done 3 already. Good Luck.

I just gone done with clomid (after taking it off & on for 4 years & then steady for one year) & we moved onto Gonal-F injections while timing intercourse. If that doesn't work after 6 months, we will try Gonal-F injections with IUI.

no IUI would be the next, step, then in vitro. Intrauterine insemination, timed properly with her ovulation, as well as either injected or oral fertility drugs. good luck :)

I THINK YOU SHOULD STAY ON THE CLOMID FOR A WHILE LONGER BEFORE GIVING UP. THEN TRY IVF, WHICH IS VERY VERY EXPENSIVE.

I think the next step would be in vitro fertilization, but it is very expensive. You could also consider adoption.
