Well first of all never ever be embarassed to ask a doctor to clarify if you do not understand what he is saying. Having "big" ovaries can mean several things. It could mean that you have follicles which are ready for ovulation, it could be polycystic ovaries, they could contain a variety of cysts or benign tumours, you could have endometriosis in the ovaries, a pregnancy in the fallopian tube close to the ovary, and it could also be a sign of perimenopause. All these things would have very different impacts on your ability to concieve. I suggest you talk to your gynaecologist and get a complete visit. This will clear any doubts you might have and he can also advise you on the best treatment for you if you're determined to concieve. Best of luck
