Just curious as to how much each of these procedures cost. Does anyone know? I don't have the slightest clue in the world. I'm not looking for a total...but perhaps there is someone out there who has had to pay for an HCG shot. I'm under the impression that most insurance doesn't cover these things because it's considered infertility treatments. Am i right? Thanks.

depends on the insurance u have.. call them and confirm..
But ballpark Idea is..
HCG shot costs.. Novarel $35.. but u pay copay -$10 if ur insurance covers it

IUI- costs $370-400.. insurances do not cover this cost
this fee includes sperm wash..
U/S and blood tests - $160 and $20 respectively.. each time..usually 3-4 per cycle are needed -- they are coverd by most insurances..

Best wud be to call ur fertility clinic and ask about the costs.. they have the correct figures for ur area.. then call ur insurance and ask.. how much do they cover..they can also tell u how much co-pay u'll have to pay.. if u know what medicines U'll be taking..

Most insurance sucks when it comes to IVF and infertility. Some states will make their insurance cover portions of the costs.

I have gone through a bunch of differnt infertility treatments including full IVF with everything incuded. I can't remember the exact costs but you can go to
www.havingbabies.com and look up some of their costs.

Get your IUI treatment in India .IVF treatment, IUI, ICSI and Laparoscopic surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges all types of medical treatment and surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. I have also read that they arrange financing for American and Canadian patients, as some of the surgery including ivf treatment is not covered by insurance.

They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor I personally believe that your treatment and surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The doctors are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star. I recently also read about a Chinese couple facilitated by forerunners healthcare were able to get their baby by IVF and a surrogate mother.

My cousin and her husband got their IVF treatment in India through the forerunners healthcare in India and is all praise for this company. She is a known case of PCOS.She is a very happy mother of a baby boy now. She just paid 2500 pounds for the full treatment for which she was quoted 8000 pounds in private setup in UK.I strongly recommend this company to you as they can be of great help to you. Hope this helps.
