My husband and I recently decided for me to get off the pill a month ago. We have been having intercourse every other day trying to conceive. I have read about a lot of symptoms of pregnancy, and lately I my breasts have been hurting.. but mostly my nipples have been hurting. I am not due for a period until Monday. Anyone have any suggestions as to why my nipples hurt so bad? Thanks :)

Normally before my period, they don't hurt any at all. I'm hoping this will be a good sign for me.. I'm anxiously waiting for Monday :)

Well it could be pregnancy unless during intercourse your husband has been grabbing pulling sucking or biting the nipples then it could just be that. Good luck though!

This is a very good sign of pregnancy. My nipples always hurt before my breasts got tender. It's caused by the hcg hormone your body produces when you are pregnant. Your breasts will be tender through the first trimester. There are several hpt's that you can test up to 5 days early. Although the earlier you test, the percentage of accuracy goes down. It's highly unlikely that you would get a false positive result, but false negatives are common when testing too early because your hcg level isn't high enough yet for the test to detect it. Therefore, to avoid the disappointment, I suggest waiting until at least Monday morning and take a test. If you are very anxious though, you can buy the 2 pack of tests and take one now and if it's negative, wait until Monday to test again.

Sore nipples is one of the first symptoms of pregnancy. They can start to be sore as soon as 1 wk after convieving. Some sooner, but usually not earlier than 1 week. Sounds to me like you might be expecting, if your period is due monday for sure just wait till then and take a test. Or you can buy one of those early test that can detect pregnancy 4 days prior to your period.

That is a sign of pregnancy. But it is also a sign of your period. If u are trying to conceived try havin sex everyday not every other day. And when just getting off the pill it takes a while for your hormones to get back to normal for some women. But the best thing to do is talk to ur Dr. tell him or her u are trying to conceive.

You could be having PMS wait and see. Assume you are pregnat if you are not on birth control to protect any baby that might be in there. Make sure you are taking a prenatal vitamin and not drinking. Talk to your obgyn about other precautions and things to do.

You are actually close enough to your period that you can take a HPT get Answer or First Response, get a two pack in case the 1st one is negative.

If they usually don't hurt this bad before a menstrual cycle...then you can almost be sure that your pregnant. I hope you are and if you are CONGRATS. I'm assuming if it doesn't come Monday you will take a H.P.T.?! Good Luck!

most likely ur period is coming , usually u get breast tenderness around 3 to 4 weeks. so patient i know it's not easy.. but hang in there...

There is a good possibility that you are. My breasts got sore during both pregnancies.
