Trying to Conceive - August 2006

I've read that Sweet potatoes, Broccoli and green beans are good. Any more to help conceive.?

My period has been MIA for 13 days now. I've taken countless pregnancy tests (all dollar tree) and have all be negative. We had unprotected sex on CD 10.

I've been very tired lately. Really gassy and nausous. My tummy feels like its getting harder and I feel like I'm peeing a lot more. TONS of clear watery discharge but no blood, not even a spot. I feel almost exactly like I did with my first pregnancy. (I have 2 kids).

Is it still possible to be pregnant, and more importantly is it likely?

My husband has a low sprem count and we saw on the internet that amberoz increases sprem count. Has anybody used this or do u think it would work it is all natrual.

Me and my husband had sex yesterday 8/16/06 and I would like to know how soon can I get the symptoms of pregnancy? Do I need weeks for it or has anyone experienced within days ( which am not sure if its realistic to ask) but am just curious!

Does it hurt when you have a baby. I'm not having a baby anytime soon but I am just wondering. I really can't tolerate pain whatsoever so if I can't deal with the pain I will just adopt a kid.

I have this sister in law that gets out of an abusive marriage just to jump into another one worse than the first one. Now she's pregnant with her 3rd kid right after the guy recently tried to kill her. While other friends of ours who are responsible, hardworking people can't conceive.

Hi,
I had my period on 8/9/06 and yesterday 8/16/06 we had sex without protection? Are there any chances of me getting pregnant? Has anyone become pregnant within 8 days or less instead of the usual 14 days for ovulating? How soon can one get the symptoms of pregnancy, for example within how many days of having sex can one conceive and get the symptoms? Please advice?

I bleed a little everyday. Well the blood doesn't really come out, I stick a peice of tissue up there everyday and there is a little blood mixed with mucus.
Is that a sign of pregnancy or maybe miscarriage? (I hope not). I have to wait until Saturday morning til find out for sure if I'm pregnant.
But I just wanted to know what you thought.

Me and my girlfriend have been trying for a baby for one year now, she doesn't know i'm going through other methods to have my own baby. Iv'e made an appointment to get fertility tested, but in myself I feel that's not the problem. I feel I am the cause of the problem giving her stress by arguing with her, I have been told that stress can sometimes prevent one from having a child, is there another way of making her fall pregnant without insertation. I've been getting regular periods since I was 12 years old. I've NEVER missed a period (except when I was on birth control 2 years ago for a total of 10 months) But as soon as I went off of it I started getting my periods regular again as normal....How do I know if I even ovulate?

ok not sure how this might work but here goes, if you fertilise an egg it takes 6-12 days to travel to the womb, what happens if your period is due before the egg gets to the womb??? does this flush the egg away or does the body no this and automatically stops the periods there and then??? sorry for my ignorance on this matter.

Well for the last month, I have been working out at the gym 3 to 4 times a week for about an hour (cardio). Do you think that would stop my period or make me have some spotting? About 3 weeks ago I ate a banana and a glass of water and went straight to the gym. But when I got there I felt sick and vomited. Now that made me go to Target and get a pregnancy test. It read "not pregnant". Well this was only after about 2 days of my period being late. But I tested again about 1 week later and still read: "not pregnant". I still have not gotten my period (but spotting like everyday or every other day though). Well my last menstrual period was from 6-28 to 7-1.
Lately I have had the worst mood swings. I am extremely mean to my husband, and some cramping (you know the kind where it feels like your about to start you period?). Also, my breast are not sore "all the time". More so in the morning when I first get out of bed and some days worst than others.

Has anyone ever experienced this?

I have been TTC for over three years and last month I had my 1st cycle of Clomid. I became pregnant the first month, but lost the baby two days after I found out I was pregnant. When they took my levels in the ER, my body was already down to levels of 3.10 (no pregnancy hormones at all). I hear try to wait to conceive to let your body heal, but I never went through a time after this that my body didn't feel normal. I believe it is because I lost the baby so early on. I know if your 10 weeks along, your body goes through more and that is why a lot of women are encouraged to wait. But I also hear that you are most fertile after a M/C. Would you try to Conceive this month knowing your chances are higher of conceiving? Thanks

my last period was july 9th. i was supposed to get my period august 6th. on august 2nd and 3rd my husband and i had intercourse and i proped my legs up after (because we do this everytime because we're trying to concieve) and everything. then i missed my period, and on the 11th i started to get some brown spotting. i took a pregnancy test on the day of my missed period and on the 12th and they came out negative.

is there any way i might have ovulated late, when we had intercourse, and i could have gotten pregnant then, and then i missed my period, and implantation bleeding occured on the 11th?
i don't feel pregnant, but im wondering if this may have been why the HPT was negative, because i took it too early? i want to take another, but i'm sick of looking at them and getting my hopes down! need some advice. thank you!
