Not every girl is the same... and not every pregnancy is going to be the same. Some girls can go through their entire pregnancy with only maybe tender breasts and queasiness... while as others just might get the whole 9 yards. Very few woman KNOW that they are pregnant just by being in tune with their body. Most of the time the symptoms wont come until about 2 weeks or so... but then again not everyone is the same. I have listed a site below that might help with future questions or anything that I didn't cover that you want to know. There is also a message board. It is the most informative site that I have came across so far. Good luck!!

Hi Some women experience telltale symptoms right away which make them suspect they are pregnant. The earliest way to know if you are pregnant is to due a home pregnancy test.Four days after fertilization, the fertilized egg begins to produce a hormone called human chorionic gonadotropin(hcg) It can be detected in a womans blood before it is detected in the urine.Often one of the first symptoms of pregnancy is a change in the way your breast feels. They can be more sensitive and tender, they can feel heavier and fuller also your breast and nipples can get larger,it usually happens around 2wks after conception. Some women know they are pregnant by the way there body functions and feels. You may get fatigue, nausea, bloating, frequent urination. Some women start feeling these changes within the first week but usually after 2 weeks. Also your cervix will begin to soften and not be so firm.

well its been three years since i was preg and my husband had all my symptoms for me (i love him so much lol)
with my first child i knew the next day that i had gotten preg. with my second i knew about it months before i could convince anyone that i was! I was 23 weeks before they belived me cause the baby started kicking everyone! but i had known sometime the month i conceved. and with my third i was in too much pain to pay a bit of attention to when signs started ( i had thrown my back out and was in very very very bad pain! the ER was actullly when i found out i was preg i was only a week preg {guess we wont try that crippling move again} lol) (lets just say looking back i know exactly when i got preg)
I'm a very strange case i have very regular periods but very speratic and multiable ovulations, and i seem to always know when i am preg. (or at least i use to)( im so desperate to get that way right now i see and feel signs where there ar'nt any)
symptoms happen differnt for everyone. all i can say is to wait and see if the old hag shows up in a few days/weeks.

This is funny but a week after I got pregnant,I got gas and cramping so bad. I really thought I was about to be back on my period. I knew I was pregnant, because I never fart!! Lol! My tummy seemed so heavy, and I was just exhausted all the time starting the second week. I took pregnancy test after test and they would be negatives, but I KNEW I was pregnant. The farting gave it away my hubby said! lol! Sure enough 2 days after my missed period I tested again, and I was pregnant, the Dr. said I can't believe you were right! So If you know your body very well, and feel the changes take place,I know you just get a Mother's Intuition,well...and GAS! lol! Good luck!

People think I'm crazy but I knew a week after I concieved that I was pregnant. I had no signs or symptoms I just knew. i went for a test and was told it was too early to tell and I insisted on the test anyway and it showed up very well. The nurse insisted I was further along etc but she was amazed as i continued my visits and had the baby when it was calculated by my knowing.

It's different for every woman. Conception isn't instant, it takes a few days usually. I'd say 10-14 would be a good guess for most women, but you can opt for a blood test for earlier results. They can detect pregnancy as early as a few days after conception. If you don't mind waiting a couple more days, you can get a home pregnancy test kit.

It varies from person to person. It will take atleast 3 weeks from the time you get pregnant for a test to show positive or negative. The best time to have sex is just before your period and all through your period, since a man's sperm can live upto approximately 10 days. You will get pregnant 8 days after the first day of your period. That is when women who have regular menstrual cycles will ovulate(egg drops and is ready to be fertilized).
