My husband & i never thought that we would get pregnant & when we went to the fertility clinic they ran about a million test, then they put me on clomid. I was on it for 5 mon. Then i got my period when i was supposed to go in for a blood test. I was'nt going to get my blood test done because i thought that it did'nt work, But the clinic said that i had to get it done so that they can keep track of everything going on with my body. So i went in 4 days later the nurse called me back to say that we were preganant!!
Our daughter is 9 mon. old & healthy & beautiful.
Good look to you & your husband & don't loose hope it will happen, & the end result is more then worth everything we go thru.

I got pregnant twice on it. The first time I took it, I got pregnant the first month (which unfortunately ended in a miscarriage). The second time it took 8 months and I was up to 200mg./day., but the month before I conceived I had a laparoscopy, which found a mild case of endometriosis. Fortunately my OBGYN removed it and the next month I was pregnant with my daughter. I'm currently on it again ttc. This is my second month on it. I also take estrogen the 5 days following the clomid and get HCG injections on days 14 & 21. If Clomid alone doesn't work, maybe you can suggest this with your OBGYN. Good luck!!

Just want to add, I don't think Clomid had anything to do with my first miscarriage (about 1/4 of all 1st pregnancies end in miscarriage).

I got pregnant my first month of using it, after trying for over three years. I Miscarried right away, but do not think it had anything to do with the Clomid and I plan to go back on it next month. I was on 50 mgs day 3-8

I took clomid off & on for 3 years with no success. I was never monitored while on it those 3 years either. I ended up leaving my OBGYN & seeing a RE & after seeing her for 4 months, I got pregnant off of 200mg of Clomid & a shot of Norval (hcg). I miscarried at 7 weeks (due to thyroid problem) & then got pregnant again on 200mg of Clomid & Norval, 8 months after my first miscarriage.

Make sure you are monitored while on clomid. If not, then you are just wasting your time & money, as being monitored will let you know if you are reacting to the Clomid well enough. Normally on cycle day 14, I went in for a ultrasound & if my follicles were 18 or bigger than I got the hcg shot.

I'm now on Gonal-F & norval injections due to bad reaction to Clomid.

Good luck

Now everyone can cure infertility using this natural remedy http://pregnancyhelps.info
infertility can run in the family and one of the first things the doctor asks you when you go to a fertility clinic is your family history regarding cases of infertility or other reproductive issues.
If infertility is caused by genetic disorder then it's not unusual that one of the kids (your mom) doesn't have it and another does (your aunt).
two months of trying is still to early to be concerned about the fact that you might be infertile and it's also quite early to go to a fertility specialist. Go to a regular Obgyb to get a closer insight and see what ways there are are to improve your fertility rate.
Also remove alcohol, caffeine and cigarettes from your life because they might influence your chances too. Stress is also a risk factor when it comes to infertility.
