I have been TTC for over three years and last month I had my 1st cycle of Clomid. I became pregnant the first month, but lost the baby two days after I found out I was pregnant. When they took my levels in the ER, my body was already down to levels of 3.10 (no pregnancy hormones at all). I hear try to wait to conceive to let your body heal, but I never went through a time after this that my body didn't feel normal. I believe it is because I lost the baby so early on. I know if your 10 weeks along, your body goes through more and that is why a lot of women are encouraged to wait. But I also hear that you are most fertile after a M/C. Would you try to Conceive this month knowing your chances are higher of conceiving? Thanks

had you not been having fertility treatmeant you probably would never have known you were pregnant and would have put it down to a heavy period.
If you feel ready to try again this month then I dont see why not, I did and succeeded without treatment.
My friend has just found out she is pregant after 6 lots of clomid and like you she lost after the first try.
So good luck never give up hope xx

I would wait because you suffered a devestating blow. However you body needs a little time to heal no matter how long you have been pregnant. A few months should be okay depending on your health. I would talk to the doctor first and see what she thinks. Good luck and I hope you get that baby you want so badly. God bless.

No. Do not try for another baby for at least 4 months. Your body needs time to rest and heal.

what i have known from a friends experience is that you get hormonal upsets after chemo-contraception, especially if you have gone the hor-pill way. you need to get your hormone levels checked, you might need to take bromocryptin(??). once you have concieved, please do visit your obstretician, who might put you on some hormone supplement so as to safeguard the implanted foetus.. be sure to rule out ectopics, plus do undergo USG for competence of cirvix
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE REFRAIN FROM SELF MEDICATION
happy parenting, all the best
