Absolutely. It's always good to get the nutrients you need before you're pregnant. Most specialists say that you need at least 400mg of folic acide to help prevent birth defects and gets your body ready pregnancy. Good luck and lots of baby dust!!

Yes absolutely! The healthier you are prior to becoming pregnant the easier and healthier your pregnancy will be. Eating a well balanced healthy diet and walking or doing some type of exercise will benefit you so very much. Yes. the folic acid has been shown to prevent neural tube defects, such as spina bifida. It also makes sure that your body has good 'stores' of essential vitamins.
