Does it hurt when you have a baby. I'm not having a baby anytime soon but I am just wondering. I really can't tolerate pain whatsoever so if I can't deal with the pain I will just adopt a kid.

It hruts, but you can get great drugs, and in the end, seeing your baby and knowing that you created it is worth everything, it almost makes you forget the pain.

Pain control is a very big goal of hospitals these days, so do not give up on having a baby. They have epidurals, demerol, etc. that can really help. If you have a c section, you don't even feel anything through the surgery. They put duramorph into the epidural so there is no pain for 24 hours and then, after that, they give percocet or some other pain reliever. You will be fine and have your beautiful baby to distract you!

It hurts most women a lot but a few are spared labor pain for some reason. They have really short labors and then just feel the urge to push and the baby comes out.
If you absolutely cannot tolerate pain, then you can get an epidural.

Yes it does hurt i never used any thing my sister-in-law used a epidural and she said it helped for the pain but when it came time to push the baby out it didn't help for that. But once the baby is out you feel relieved and happy to see your baby and you don't think of the pain any more

does it hurt, is that a serious question...its not supposed to feel good, its like squeezing a watermelon through a garden hose. they dont call it labor for nothing. there are pain meds and epidurals, it sucks but in the end its totally worth it, you get an awesome reward, and you really do forget what it feels like.....until the next time around that is, then it all comes back. ive done it twice and id do it again in a heartbeat.

Well, it doesn't tickle, thats for sure.
It's kinda like squeezing a st. Bernard through a cat door.
Pshaw, don't worry about the pain, they have epidurals now that will numb you up and you won't feel a thing.

It does hurt but you can get an epidural which takes away all of the pain. I didn't feel a thing.

Uhh, yeah. It's like going through living hell and back again! But, when you hold the baby in your arms, there is nothing else in the world you care about except that little life.

I won't lie, it hurts! But with all of the pain relief options, it's mostly tolerable, and well worth it! :)

epidural all the way..in the beginning u might feel a little but get the meds and u will be okay
