Everybody is different, so it's really hard to tell. If she is very thin, she may be able to feel the uterus starting to swell, like there is a little lump in there. Not everybody notices that, though. Lots of lucky ladies (like myself) never have morning sickness. So she may have a virus or a touch of the flu. Hope not.

Good luck !!!

There could be other reasons, and wishful thinking often causes you to morph these reasons into what you think is pregnancy. Try descbribing her symptoms to a parent, preferably hers as not only have they been through it, but she's likely to get many of the same symptoms her mother had.
Other things to look out for is the area around the nipples darkening, tender or sore breasts and enlargement of breasts (even early on, due to hormones).
Don't be tempted to try a pregnancy test earlier than the instructions say, as this will very frequently give an inaccuate result. Afraid theres nothing you can do to be certain until you have a missed period, postive pregnancy test and see a GP. Until then you're just gonna have to be patient.

I took the First Response test 3 weeks after conceiving, and the test came out positive. These things really do work. If she still does not want to take the home pregnancy test, make an appointment with a gynecologist for her, they will do a urine test that will confirm if she is pregnant. Personally, I think she has a bun in the oven. I have three of my own.

Glad to see that a father to be is taking interest in the other half. Yeah she could be, I had loads of signs and being sick is one and I knew after two weeks that i was pregnant maybe she is. You are going to have to wait till you can get her a test to find out. I know how you are feeling as you want to know now. But as they say time will tell. Good luck. you could go on this website called babycenter and they give great advise.

the waist size is one of the first things to change. Before i knew I was pregnant, so very early on, my trousers were tight around my waist, even though I hadn't put on any weight at all! and yes the boob thing too! this is one you may not know about too, when I was pregnant the first time I had really sore gums, i went to the dentist because it was so bad, and he said that it was very common to have this in pregnancy. so, a couple of years later when I got sore gums again, it made me wonder. I did a test and sure enough, I was pregnant again! good luck, I hope everything works out for you x

it might be to early for pregnancy symptoms, but not impossible. Some other pregnancy symptoms may include, sore tender nipples, headaches, fatigue, small amount of rapid weight gain (5lbs or so) cravings. if she is showing symptoms she can take an early detection preg test, or get a blood test from a doctor. Also I found that when i was pregnant with my son mint tea helped with nausea, and is prefectly safe for a baby. Good Luck!

it's very rare that she should suffer pregnancy symptoms this early, though not impossible. i didn't get any morning sickness until i was 7 weeks (4 weeks after i found out) as the pregnancy hormone that causes the symptoms has to have time to build to a level high enough. good luck and my all time great advice is relax about getting pregnant for most normal healthy couples it's not uncommon for conception to take 2 years! good luck

She could very well be. The things you've already noticed are signs. Look out for sore, noticibly bigger boobs, ask if she has any funny tastes in her mouth (sounds strange but if she has a metallic taste she could be), also, urinating often is a sign. Good luck!
